Hi all
As you all know Mtkflash is normaly the program you use to flash your firmware whatever it is a ms25 ms28 or benq , if you have a X-box 360 with a samsung ms28 or ms25 and you need a via sata controller for flashing it , so here is how you do it if you dont have a via sata controller , you will not need to have a via controller for flashing you consol all you need is to get dosflash and iprep , you will need to open iprep and load your samsung xtreme firmware and load the benq xtreme firmware now you select your sata controller (you need a sata controller for doing it) ohh forgot someting ,here you need to load both firmware because you need dosflash and that program only comes if you want to flash a benq device so load it , now you have made your boot usb device or your floppy go to bios and select the boot up menu and select floppy or usb device an boot from it, now you see it boots up in mtkflash and it ask you if you want to countinue but you type no here and you are in dos mode now , type cd tools enter and type dosflash, remember you must first connect your sata cable after you have booted into dos or it will not work , now again load dosflash and it will find some drives and it maybe ask if you want to refind devices and, if it does type yes before you type enter turn on your console and hit enter now it will search your device again ,and your shutdown your console again and it stop scearch for you device, now again you turn on your console and dosflash have found your device select your device it is probberly the first one of the sata device 1 hit on 1 and enter , now it ask you if you want to read write or erase you firmware you type r for read, now you must enter a name for your firmware and we call it orig.bin it will read 4 banks and if it goes right it says sucess, now shut down your consol and boot back to windows and download your samsung hacked firmware and extract it someware, put your new orig.bin files into one of the directory there are up to 12x speed , select one of the directory and move your orig.bin into there and goto dospromt and load make firmware now you have a new firmware ex. called ix14.bin drop that file on your floppy or usb in the tools dir and reboot into dos again, now load dosflash again like you did before once you are ready you type w for write firmware, and type ix14.bin it writes and if it is a sucess you have now a modded console , try to open you tray if you can then it works now hook up your console to a tv and put one of your backups into the tray and it shoud show the name of the game if it does it will work just fine .
i have done this on 3 diff computers 1 with nforce 590 chipset and intel chipset and sis chipset and they all just worked fine
i will not take response if you brick your console it is clearly up to yourself if you want to go ahead with this dont blame me if it does not go well
if you get one of the new liteon device your can forget about it because no hacked firmware have been made sofar

Interesting, so a via chipset isn't needed for the ms28.
but could you make the part about loading 2 firmwares in iprep clearer ? because won't one just replace the other ?

Jrnni sry for my english but i did my best so all could understand it
Mutantius this is consol technical forum so it has to be the right palce for it
slenoj : when you load iprep 101 you can load samsung and benq at the same time when you load benq you will get dosflash and that is the program you will need for flashing the consol if you dont load the benq at the same time you wont get dosflash cause dosflash only comes with benq hope you understand me
