|

So I moved to a new province out in the boonies and the only internet I get is gay. The have managed to block every single P2P program ever made, and encryption does nothing, they even throttle fucking IRC! Basically the only place I get full download speed is in my browser. So I've started downloading Indie games and Rips from rapidshare. I only like using rapidshare when there is 1 or 2 parts because otherwise the wait gets ridiculous. I'm looking for some good indie games or rips of older games that will be under 200mb. The last game I played through was Tony Hawk 4 and I really enjoyed it. Thanks.
Edit: it appears the forums don't like the Less than or equal to sign.

Get a Rapidshare/Mega Upload/Whatever premium account, that's the best advice I can give.
Other than that, look into Mame and the arcade roms. They are usually 50MB and up. Look into the Metal Slug games, they are good for wasting stupid amounts of time.

x-com series. Old but, whatever.
I think I recommend those everytime a new "recommend me a game"-thread comes up. Heh. But they are simply the best.
And with x-com series Im talking about Enemy Unknown and Terror from the Deep. Third might be worth a shot also but not nearly as good.

I don't know what kind of connection you have, but you can try disconnecting and then reestablishing your connection. Maybe that gives you a new IP, then you can start downloading immediately again.

Warhammer shadow of the horned rat.
Warhammer Dark omen
2 great games of their time and I highly doubt games like the total war series would exist with out it today.

* Eschalon: Book One (Eschalon: Book II, developed by Basilisk Games, is expected to be released Q2 2009 ) and this series is gonna be a Trilogy
* Aquaria
* Snes roms + emu
* Neo Geo Roms + Emu
* All Big Fish Games + keyGEN
these will pass a lot of funny BUT Not *Deep* gameplay until you resolve your problem with the connection blocking.

Has your provider blocked using newsgroup providers as well? If not it could be a way to solve your problem...

FUCK YOU! I just wrote my English exam on about 3 hours of sleep thanks to that game. And as soon as I got back I found myself playing it again.
