I need this spec rougly, but need it a little cheaper so i can buy a good monitor and HD along with it. Are there any corners I can cut price wise on www.ebuyer.com but still get near the same results? Its only for playing CS:source and starcraft 2 (when it arrives)

I got the same setup, except a cheaper Mobo which is excellent. Might wanna check this one out to save some $$$.

Cut on the CPU and get 2GB ram. E6300 or E6400 should be a good alternative for you, because you can overclock them.

But wont I regret that when starcraft 2 comes out? BTW, is the 8800 GT better than the GTS/GTX or not? I was kinda inactive to hardware news for a year.

Well, for the price it is much much better lol. GTX and the newer GTS may pull better performance scores on higher resolutions, but they prices are way too high. And by "better" I mean 5-10 fps more. Not worth it.
About the CPU, why would you regret it? You can overclock them like hell. You might need a cooling tower to really reach high overclocking rates, but even with stock cooling you'll should be pleased.
As for the monitor, I recommend the BenQ G2400W (24"). It has VGA, HDMI and DVI inputs. You might be tempted to go with higher end monitors (which are not TN panel based), but they have really high input lags.

Anyway, I'd still go with a 4MB L2 cache E6400 as a minimum. |

a bit cheaper - almost same (or even better) performance
well hard to cut on that one...
you could always buy a cheaper cpu - 9600 is almost as fast as 8800 gt and ~30€ cheaper. abit ip35 is a great board - you never ever use sli (not on a (70€ board anyway...)
edit:
get ddr2-800 - you can easily overclock the intel cpus...
