Some people reported that near end of the game you get another bug where your weapons don't cool down after they overheat. It is suposed to be crack related bug because there is noone on MEforums complaining over it. It could be another form of protection and I don't know if Vitality fixed it.

Do you need to keep the character creation at default with the latest IND crack, or is it ok to create a custom character now?

Oh, for fuck's sake. THIS IS A FEATURE! If you had bothered to read a walkthrough or just do a goggle search, this is in fact not a bug. The boss in the final battle has powers that overheart your weapons. Use Google for the love of god people, or you'll remain lazy and ignorant forever. Rolling Eyes

...its happened to me a few times through-out the game and twice at the boss. plus once i got the overheat bug on my MAKOS gun.. i dont think theres a enemy out there who can overheat my mako, anyways vitalitys crack totally got rid of the bug. but yea there also is a power that overheats your weapon, just not to the extent of it never cooling down..

Can anyone get me up-to-date with the "Mass effect crack soap opera"?

Is the VTY crack good? Does it work with saves made with another crack? Does it have any issues/bugs?

the 'nilla vitality crack runs better than any of the ind cracks for me (no stuttering, occasional bugs but still way less than before), but it has the permanent overheating problem.

perfect combo: vit crack + the +6 trainer by razor 1911 for no overheating.

As pointed out before, the "bug" isn't weapons overheating. Is weapons overheating and never cooling down, requiring a full restart of the game.

Plus, i can't say for sure if it's a game bug or a DRM trigger, but the latest crack fixes it.

Not true. You only need to quick save and then load that save to fix it.

I had the overheating problem with both cracks, Vty and iND also. And yes, I am talking about weapons staying overheated even a long time after a fight.

A quick load solves the issue. Nonetheless it's annoying when that happens.

On a side note I see BioWare it's taking it's time with the promised DLC that should have been released on PC launch day.

after reading all the threads and info on this mass effect... can someone please tell me FOR SURE;

1. WHICH GAME RELEASE is the one working? (file size if possible?)

2. WHICH CRACK/KEYGEN RELEASE is the one working as well? (file size if possible?)

i am new into all this and kind of havin a hard time keeping up with all this.

thank you all for the info. have a good day/night Smile

i would think that they're gonna release the dlc the same time a patch is gonna come out.

To answer your questions.

1. Both the Vitality release and the detonation and the Reloaded release is good.

2. Vitality and the 2 versions of Ind's crack is good, as for keygens I know that the Detonation keygen works just fine, the same goes for Vitality and Reloaded.

This game is an Rpg game, and is therefore very complex, so expect some bugs (The cracks are not to blame for this!), I can tell you that I have played this for about 20 hours and have only experienced minor bugs (If you get some, just quicksave and reload), and by the way the game has been very stable for me. Smile

Ps. But REMEMBER!!! Don't use the game console, as this will break the game!

I played the game with the Vitality crack until Noveria yesterday, then I started to encounter the overheating bug in the garage, weapons overheating extremely fast and the overheating meter getting stuck. If it happened, it only happened in the middle of a fight. I switched to the proper ind crack and everythings working again.
But that doesnt matter now because the legit version just arrived at my home, hehe Very Happy

And i can't dance or talk to Alenko or Liara by pressing Enter, this makes the controls freeze! Pressing E works tho. This seems to be a bug thats in the retail version too.
