I have also been balling with that idea for a few years and I think it could be great, but would prolly be too politically incorrect anyway, people in general are just too sensitive about these things.

Indeed, it'd never fly. The media would run wild with it, and misrepresent it, just to get attention, instantly calling it a Jew-killing simulator or something, no matter what the game actually is about, without ever playing the game themselves.

What about a Vietnam setting? That could be nice, think about The Vietcong game (Pretty good Imho). Or if they want to keep sticking to the present, they could set the game in south America where you have deal with the FARC Guerillas, or maybe in chechnya.
Hmm, come to think of it, my last two suggestions probably won't happen, as these settings are not very political correct. What do you guys think??

what about a china setting? as far as i know the japanese invasion of china and south asia didnt show up before in any western WWII games. mostly its about the pacific and europe.

Good idea. But as much as I like WWII games I don't mind if COD5 will be set in the present. What about some country in Africa? You know, getting rid of Mugabe or something, or maybe Burma...

I hated MoH: Pacific Assault, and now Treyarch is set to make a crappy sequel to CoD3 (CoD4 is effectively a different branch, IW-branch). No interest in this whatsoever.
