So Vitality is better than IND now?

IND just stands for independent, it's not a group, more like a NoGrp tag.

Well it certainly looks like a lot of SecuROM has been removed judging by the crack size, but we'll just have to wait and see or try for ourselves. Some people seem to have issues while others say it plays a lot smoother.

I am still using the Cheat Engine method with my game. Is there a better crack out now and is there any reason why I should switch over?

does the game still stutter in some places with the VITALITY crack?

i don't feel like reinstalling the game, and i need to replace the crack in the original fucked RLD iso with a good working one so that I can burn it off my hd.

Never ever. I even deleted my save folder before using the vitality crack and started a new game without modifying Shephard except his name. A now the game just freezes when I leave the galaxy map. Infact it's no real freezing, but I can't move and can't select anything. I can't even open up the map. But the people are still breating and so on.

Yes, it seems like famous overheat bug wasn't protection related at all.

Let me guess, you have a 8 series gfx card ? You have to wait for a patch (this is an RPG game on the PC, what did you expect?) Here's a Xanax for you ...

To all : That Gniarf character applied his overheat bugfix to the vitality crack as well and posted at rlslog at about comment 188 of the VLT post, use at your own risk (I've bought the game)

I think I encountered same bug. But it happened to me with both working cracks. 2-3 times with IND and once with Vitality, but I've been only playing with Vit since today. I think it happened after returning from planet and there was some 'incoming transmition'. I was also pressing some journal buttons and entering map in some rapid fashion. Smile No buttons work I could only look around with mouse. I guess it's game bug. It's not a biggie, just reload last quicksave and your through.

Now what about overheat bug. I didn't encounter it jet, so what crack/fix/whatever has it fixed?

Gniarf has just pulled his "Vitality plus po fix" He claims that it crashes the game on startup.

Btw. What is this PO thing? If it's short for overheat bug, I don't understand. Help?
