Ok then.
Strange that it hasn't been nuked and people say it's the crack.
The game does appear to work fine for about 1 hour or so. Then the SAVE option is disabled.

A supposed "fix" is available at gamecopyworld, that fixes some securom triggers.
Tried it, but save option is still unavailable, and galaxy map bug continues.
According to official forum, galaxy map bugs happens on the original also, and several bugs are happening with 8800 graphics cards.
Try the fix, and let us know about it.

It fails. It may have patched one particular trigger but it gets stuck at another one.

No it doesn't.
Stop using crappy AV scanners and get a decent one. File checks clean with both NOD32 and Avast.

Theres someone saying at TPB that the new GCW crack works.. but only if you start a new character.

the crack works with galaxy map only if you start a new character and a fress install. BUT it doesn't work if you want to reenter the game using a save.

have heard people trying that and it not working, but i havent tried it myself and i am very dubious about using the "patch" to be honest...i think i will just wait for my retail copy to arrive

So if i install the reloaded release and then use the TRFF crackfix with the reloaded crack. The game will run normal?

yes it will. BUT once you exit the game and you want to resume your save file it crashes at the galaxy map.

I can confirm that the TRFF patch does not work. It is exactly as the previous poster has said. The game plays perfectly but once you exit out of the game and load your new save it crashes when you try to access the galaxy map.

Nope! The crack WORKS. my game didnt crash!
Anyone who says anything else hasnt tried for themselves. I spent 3 hours just for this reason but now the game works! Yippay! =)

This is what I did:
Reinstall game
Use the new crack/MEPatcher
Play through the citadel and I'm now on a moon of some sort.. dont know how to exit the Mako :S
anyone knows how to? The tutorial says E..

lol well so much for playing this. I went to start it back up after playing it yesterday and said my game has been compromised. Can't start it back up. Had to reintsall and it won't even let me do that. Starts installing and then disappears like a fart in the wind.

lol i installed it 4 times allready, tried several things en i dont want to play the beginning 3 hours again and again and again.
maybe braincheese can rar/zip the savefile and put on rapidshare or something so we can test the new fix.
it's just an idea and i hope it works!
