tried the gcw new patch and it fixes the saves.
norton antivirus
kaspersky
nod32
all ok

map problem persists tho' so it's still not playable.

i had default character and i could save anywhere until i entered "decontamination" on the ship.
then the protection kicked in and locked out the saves and possibly the map.

havent tried a NEW game, for the reason above ... and i dont think the exe corrupts the saves ...

Then hurry up and rush through the quests, and see if the galaxy map works.

omg. it would be the 3rd time o_0
here's a save that i suspect it's "uncorrupted" just before you enter the normandy.
saving works everywhere.

now really, do you think restarting would fix the map !? ^_^

Sorry guys for asking this, I know it's been asked before and an answer was given too, but I can't remember what and where, and don't feel like reading back 20-some pages.

How do I prevent the "Game is compromised, please reinstall" message from appearing? Do I need to use YASU, or is it that I need the launch icon to point directly to me.exe instead of the launcher?

If anyone remembers the solution, it'll be much appreciated.

The easiest way to stop this from popping up is to open BIOEngine.ini (The one under Documents, not Program Files.) Search for nInvalidbuild and set it to 0. Then make the file readonly.

Ok, m8s.
I deleted everything in Bioware folder except BioInput.ini (with enabled console), started the new game with premade char, opened console, entered AT BIOA_WAR00 pt Feros and... I'm on the ship. Map works, airlock opens. Saves are working too

But is the patch actually trojan'd? And if it is, anyone care to just unhook the trojan from the patch?
