The problem is like this. Im gona Quate some comments from diferent forums, so u will understand more better:

This crack has been NUKED at release log, some 400 people have confirmed it dosent work. The copy protection people were clever on this one, they put in a fair number of incremental choke points. Word is Vitality is working on it, so we should see something good, soon
Wehn u become a Specter, the game dosent allow u to Save, or when get promoted to lead the Normandy , the galaxy map dosent wark:

When you try open galaxy map! pres: space+rmb space+rmb space+rmb space+rmb space+rmb space+rmb (random!). Galaxy map OPEN!!)))))))) LOL

it does but how do you open the system map? after you travel to someplace you still end up with the same problem cus when the solar system map pops up you still get a blank
Its true even thow i tryed the same thing, u press SPACE a few times and then RBM, after is loading the map, and BEFORE the music stops. And then u get to chouse a planet, the game loads, the galaxy ur going on, but u cant leav the space ship.

I am well aware of how the Mass Effect forums run regarding who is a legitimate user with the game and those without. I am a legitimate owner of just about every game Bioware has put out and if I were willing to post my username here you'd see all of them next to my name except Mass Effect and NWN2/KotOR2 (because I think Obsidian are shit developers). I was refering to posters who had the Mass Effect stamp next to their names (which is why I stated "legitimate users" in my last comment) complaining of the same issues. Now maybe these people just downloaded the crack to run their legitimate game, but I doubt all of them are/were.

On another thread we've found a workaround-ish way to play the game. For this to work open BioInput.ini file with Notepad. This files is in your Bioware folder in Documents.
Locate the section [Engine.Console] and beneath it enter the line ConsoleKey=Tilde and then hit return so there is an extra space in between sections. You can of course choose to use another key than Tilde. I use 'Y'-key personally.
The locations I have found are these. To go there in console write AT BIOA_XXXXX where XXXXX are the codes below:
FRE31 = Tarrus IV - Freighter
FRE32 = MSV Ontario - Freighter
FRE33 = MSV Worthington - Freighter
FRE34 = MSV Fedele - Freighter
FRE35 = Gorgon System Depot - Freighter
ICE00 = Noveria
JUG00 = Virmire: Landing Zone

So when u add the cods in the console, to enter new system, then WHAT? i cant get off the damn ship! When i get the the Galaxy map, after is loading , and afnter the music stops, i press SPACE a few times and then RBM, and the galaxy map appears. I chouse my system, and the the game asks ma if i whant to procced, the game loads, showing me the Normandy in hiper space, and then, shows me the galaxy map agen. I escapte the map, because its black agen, and then i try to get off the ship, and nothing happens.

Though, if we proceed the game like this I have no clue if it will break the storyline as for all I know there could be important parts that we miss by jumping like this. I wish there was a proper-proper crack soon

I just read on TPB someone suggesting the fault lies in starting the game or continuing a career. I have no time to test the idea at the moment, but he suggest starting a new game from console instead of through menus. With AT BIOA_PRO00 If anyone would like to give it a go and let us know?

I add in the console the PRO00, and load me in to a stupid part. Get this, the pilor, is thenking me for geting promoted to command the Normandy, when i go the the Galaxy map, it tells me that only the Ship Commander can use it, and in the conference room, the Specter Alien who got shot by Seren [or what ever is his name] is stending there, i cand Chat to no one, even thow the game shows me that i can. Only the pilot and the old dude from the galaxy map toks. The elevator is blocked, ant so are the sters that go down. SORRY 4 my bad eng!
THIS PROBLEM IS EXPERIENCE BY ALL the Perople that is playing the Proper-Realoaded version.

PS: im pissed off because the people in charge of this site, nuked the detonation version for the stollen crack, but the Reloaded one is not marked NUKED!
