Why are there so many armor types I can't use (other race's armors)? Can I transfer them to my team mates? Or are they just for selling?

You can equip your teammates aswell.
Press I, then select a non-human teammate. And equip stuff on em.

Yeah, I know, but didn't see the option to equip them with equipment I have. Didn't look into it though, so maybe I'm wrong.
BTW, can the teammates die? So far I've seen them fall and get up after a minute. But if I die, it's a mission over...

Well, you equip stuff just as you do on your own char.
Lets say you got a non-human Krogan medium armor.
You open up the inventory, go to the armor tab, and double click the armor. It will equip.
When one of your teammates dies in combat, you will have to finish off every other enemy in the area, and they'll wake up. No permanent deaths, except for yourself.

I always take the love interest (Ashley) and someone else, usually Garrus.

Did they up the difficulty this time around? I remember most of the game being a breeze, i was playing with a vanguard and i almost didn't use my powers... I imagine that it would've be even easier with a soldier.

It depends on what you want. All characters level up at the same speed, so even if you don't play with someone, they'll still be as good at the end of the game if you keep their gear up to date.
Other than that, it's good to take people whose skills and powers complement your own. If you don't have any tech skills (decryption and electronics), take someone who does, or you'll be stuck with a lot of containers you can't open and terminals you can't hack, making you miss out on a whole lot of items and a number of side quests.
If you are a biotic class, try to take either Ashley or Wrex, as it's good to have some solid firepower. A lot of the biotic abilities have a lot of control, but little damage. If you're a soldier it can help to bring a biotic, but they mainly shine on the harder difficulties where you can't really brute-force your way through everything.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

The normal and veteran difficulties are pretty easy, hardcore is a little challenging, and on insane you'll have to work pretty hard.

Considering this is built on the UE3, do you guys think we will see mods in the future?
Has bioware revealed any plans for a PC Editor?

Only if you select a biotic-related character at start. Soldiers are all out weapons-experts and nothing else.

It's a shame they locked the abilities in that way. They should have made the choice gives you bonuses, but you are still allowed to advance in other fields. Why can't a Vanguard zoom on a weapon? That is, what is stopping him physically? And why can't an adept zoom on all weapons? A bit silly.

What's the point in doing it? And how is someone supposed to figure this out? Or is just a deliberate easter egg?

makes me wonder how someone finds that out, they just thought they would sit down one day and kill 150 for no reason? or maybe its tied to an achivment? *shrugs* anyway, if i remember right theres 5 in the level.

Sounds more like someone is trying to trick people into wasting insane amount of time and effort on a wild chase, ending up with a character that is 100% renegade (ie. bad)

Why, is killing gas things making you renegade?

A better way would be the monkeys on el something in the Hercules system. There are 10 monkies in any of the monkey camps. Just shoot them all then reload. 15 reloads later, you have your bonus talent.
Most of these achievements can be got through casual play. I unlocked Lift, singularity, throw, 1 companion bonus, pistol and a couple other achievements on my first play through. And I was half rushing through the game.
Oh and figuring them out is easy. Just look at the achievement menu. They don't tell you they give you anything practical (and a lot don't) I just found out, when I finished the game and started a new character, that they did.

2 Things. even if I have 100% renegade I could still finish the game with 100% paragon. This isn't a light or dark scale, both meters can be filled. I heard that the more renegade you are the more renegade option pop up in dialog, but I have never tested this myself, Since I am always paragon.
When you kill a monkey, yes you get 4 renegade points. But since you are reloading (you reload a save that was done BEFORE killing the monkeys. At least that is what I did on the xbox version) those renegade points don't stay. Just the achievement counter. Come to think of it, I am not sure this would work with the PC. The xbox saves achievements to your profile. The PC version may do save them to that particular character AND/OR its saves. If its just the character, it might work. If saves are involved, obviously not.

Oh right, so none of that reloading is necessary here. I'll look for a guide on the achievements and what they give you.
