works fine here on xp sp1. what a shame that they made it on Chrome's unefficient engine... and why didn't they buy the licenses from manufacturers? I hate Monsoon like brands.

this is a small company, not EA Smile

I think it's better to have a wonderful game with fake names than a shitty game with all the licences, I don't give a flying fruitcake as long as the car looks like the original Smile

This is the first valid release ever that I just cannot get to work (It won't accept my activation key when I launch it). WTF could I be doing wrong?

The NFO kind of doesn't make sense. Is there something important contained in that broken English that I need to know?

Could somebody spell out exactly what they did step by step like they were walking their Grandmother through it over the phone just incase I've missed something really obvious?

Help!

i burned it 2 cd....
put cd 1 in it..... pressed next...

typed over the key that's shown in the install...

OK, since multiplayer doesn't work due to authentication, could somebody try Gamers' Internet Tunnel with the LAN option? I used it for Joint Operations and it worked flawlessly. I'm too tired to mess with it right now.

Is this still working for you guys? Worked flawlessly for me for a while but now it hangs when trying to fool the protection (without the progress bar progressing).

I was just taking a look at the files installed by the the Ultima release, but, oddly, I saw no trace of files like rd2.dll, for example, which were named Starforce Libraries by Windows Explorer itself. I think they are a vital part of Starforce protection system. They are completely absent in the Ultima release. I was just wondering what kind of crack they made.
And it's all the more confusing because of their custom installation, which doesn't let you understand what files were present in the original installation, and what were actually added by them.
Anyway, just a thought, nothing more than that.
And, last, I can understand that Ultima killed Starforce and are very proud of that, but I think they seem to be a little megolamaniac. The name ULTIMA appears everywhere, during the installation, during the loading screens, even on the readme!
Anyway, great crack, and my respects to them!

Listen, this is really simple, as i had placed a blank DVD disc in my DVD drive (for burning something later on) and thought id play a little of this fine game. WTF!? Me thinks, the serial number is unrecognized? Hmm... took the blank DVD out of my player and now games serial is recognized again! Thats it, real easy, end of story!

By the way this game is really fun, and who gives a shit if they made there own installer (i wish more groups would custom make there own installers, i was LMAO during the install process), maybe that has something to do with SF 3.3 being beaten like a dog?

Nope. Doesn't work with Win2000.

I suspect it's because this is probably a rip of an installed game - which would explain why it has a custom installer and only works on XP.

I use a couple of drive caddies, one with a Win2000 HD for everyday stuff and another with an XP HD for running games. Avoids a lot of problems - not least with blacklisting these days.

Or you could always try dual boot?

Anyway, pretty good game, ought to be more popular.

With this release, Techland starts a weekly release schedule of game editing tools and authoring manuals. All game enthusiasts should stay tuned for upcoming Car Importing Wizard, Car Modelling Tutorial and ChromEd Manual. Be sure to grab both single-player and multiplayer demos as well.

Any chance these will work with the Ultima release?

I may be wrong but I don't think this game supports gamepads, well, it doesn't seem to support mine anyway, I know, I ought to get a wheel.

Is there any solution for this problem? I'm using WinXP Home Edition with SP1 and every available update. It seems there's something wrong with this release/crack because the XR demo works fine on my PC.

No there's no problem here. It must be the release. As I said already the demo works fine.

I'm not trying to be funny, if you had a rudimentary grasp of English you would notice that my post above was telling the poster that had the problem that the problem was at his end (i.e. his computer) as this works for everyone else (apart from the win2k users)
