Also in the listings you can just mouse over the nfo icon to see the information, and there's a new icon for attributes which you can mouse over for more information (for instance, for movies you can see: video source, video format, genre, language, subtitles and samples from files)
You can use both versions simultaneously if you wish, just use v3.newzbin.com for v3.

v3 is for pros. people using v2 are obviously noobs who dont know how to to fully realise the potential of newzbin. v2 does not have RAW mode, meaning your gonna wait alot longer to see releases be posted up like a complete stoned noob. And newzxxx is by the same people they had to split up the porn from newzbin because they were getting in trouble as they were charging for porn in some law or something, so they freed the porn!

RAW mode. me and headshot were grabbing happykittyfun2 on dvd9 which pissed me off so i used raw mode and found rip at 1.5gb instead. BAM

binsearch.info finds things slightly ahead of newzbin ... same thing?

Files Listings Disabled on v2
File listings (the Usenet raw view, which you're trying to look at) have been disabled on Newzbin v2.
In order to browse the file listings, please use Newzbin v3 which supports a new, rewritten, much faster files engine.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause; we are working hard to get v2 expired and make v3 the new main Newzbin site as soon as possible.
its called raw on v3

and you never used file mode, you seriously need to lay off the weed. they cut files mode from it for about a year now :/
if youre paying for a site why go to another site when the site you are paying for does the same thing :O

indexing of posts. newzbin is the best for that.
binsearch is faster and better for searching for files.

Don't be a dork  , just use the new address. Once you switch to v3 you are never going back to the crappy v2. Heck, I pretty much forgot it even existed. |

Apparently Newzbin received a letter from the MPA. I don't know if this news shows up for non-members. Maybe that's why they're asking for a login now. This was posted as news on 5-22:
