two different games. and riddick isn't really a first person shooter. it's more of a stealth action game, ie splinter cell.

I have not played it yet mainly cause my xbox is a virgin...but can anyone clear this up for me. Is it true that its only shields, no health bar. And is their an option for no shields...just curious. Its all good to me but some of my clan are whiney and refuze to play with shields (they are hardcore no-shields only)
If this has been answered, my apologies, I'm not around these forums too much

Well, nothing new in Halo 2...I´ve been playing the first levels and I must say that the hype for this game is not worth it! Could any "Halo-fan" please tell what so great about this game, cuz I haven´t seen anything that I haven´t seen b4!

Well Jack Flack in my opinion from the small amount i've played in the french version of Halo 2......i rekcon firstly the visuals and enviroments are alot more detailed than the original. Everything seems alot crisper and flows really nicely. More so than what the original did for me. (in my opinion anyway)
I mean i have only played it very breifly but i was blown away......
Also my question from before......how many levels does Halo 2 have in the single player campaign?

Well, I have played some truly stunning looking and addictive xbox games lately, but I am afraid to say "whats so good about this?". To be honest the original Halo to me felt like too long and drawn out and much of the same thing again and again. Halo 2 looks polished, nice cut scenes, nice smooth movement, but......it aint that hot. I've played it for an hour and I have to say I had more fun playing Psi-Ops. Am I missing something? Is it the online part of Halo that makes it so great?

This sucks !!! you dont agree ? Play the game ! when you have made it to the end then you will understand what i mean. Compare then the game to the E3 video after you are done ! Where are all the levels shown in the video ? Where ? And what kind of ending is this ?
This game sucks ! Not in graphics and controll but at the ending and also false advertising and info provided by Bungie with the E3 and all the other videos. Those levels does not exist at all !

meaby so but the levels.... they are not in the game as in the videos i have seen. As for the video that you see chief going down from a platform and shooting the small aliens hiding behind the advertising screens. Also the map shown in the city with the huge ships that are been shoot down and chased by chief... THAT DOES NOT EXIST...

I keep getting dirty disc error on this before it even starts. Weird coincidence but i took out joypad 2, took out the dvd dongle, and it worked... hmmm!

there are a lot of people getting a disc error. not only in this forum .. i read it a lot.
maybe it s a problem with an old bios or something like that. you tried updating your bios?

Great game i must say.
but i havent finished it yet.
But i havto agree.. it isnt as good as it was hyped to be.. but what game is.

Yeah headshot i just completed it, odd ending, i was quite suprised when it went to the credits, i was expecting a little more. What was the significance of cortana talking to that alien tentacle thing at the end ?
Takes nothing away from it though, fantastic game with so many characters. A strong candidate for game of the year even if the sp was a little short.

Doesnt look like anyone answered you yet so Ill tell you. There are 15 selectable levels in Halo2 but these are broken down into smaller levels throughout the game.

just a thought, does anyone think beating the game on legendary, might have another effect on the ending of the game. I.E., Halo 1, with the sarge and the elite.

Probably, but the extra bit in the end will probably not be worth the headache of trying to beat it on legendary.
If you want to find out though you could just play the last level on legendary.
