Hi,
Well im playing the game while playing at same point the game crash back to windows and im getting a box of error with a place to write waht i was doing and then send the info to the company .
under it there is : click to see tech info when i click it also close with error .
The only thing i can see is that the error is on perry_rhodan.exe
Anyone else got crash like that ?
My system is : due2core 3ghz 4gb ram geforce nvidia 8800gtx 768mb windows vista ultimate 64bit with SP1 .
 Spoiler: | It happens all the time same point : im at the academy in the living place of the man i gave coffee to wake him up in the caffetiria . so he is going to check the robot then he left the room so i put the box in his room then the device on the box there and it start to show a video but then the video is closed without showing anything in it no msg or something then the game crash to windows the game shut down and im getting the error i said |
Could be its a bug in the file the exe something with the crack ? im using vitality release swcene version .
Anyone else got crash at this point in the game too ?
What do you think its a bug in my windows or something with the game ?

Cuz i asked it in the official website forum of the game and at least other two ppl said they have the same error at same place i described in the spoiler and they also said they have windows 64 bit ultimate .
So what windows do you have and if its vista ultimate 64bit or just vista also say if you have SP1 allready installed in it like me .
cuz if the problem is in windows vista ill switch to windows xp .

Vista Ultimate x64 with SP1 (Legal/Original.)
Despite what many people say I haven't had any real issues with Vista even back during the public beta test stages, ofcourse this issue could still be a problem with either Vista or 64-bit technology but if that's the case then it's the first title I ever played which has had such problems.
(Ofcourse older titles might also have some compatibility issues.)

In the official forum of the game pepole with vista ultimate 64bit got crash at same point like we do all the time .
But two pepole there with windows xp sp3 said they passed this area in the game without any problems .
So my guess its the vista or the 64but but also could be SP1 .
Cuz since sp1 installed i could run correctly my internet security kaspersky also got crashes . im not surei f kaspersky crash beacuse the SP1 but it started few after i installed SP1 a few days ago .
So we know its working with xp we just need somehow to check if the problem is with vista or vista 64bit or the SP1 for vista .
Also it could be ram ? im using 4gb ram . and you pepole ?

My system specifications would be the following.
Intel QX6850 (A bit outdated by the recent 9000 serie but still powerfull.)
OCZ 4GB DDR3 1440 (1800)
Asus Xonar D2X
Maximus Extreme x38
HIS ATI 2900XT 1GB DDR4
(Quite expensive but a good upgrade from my previous computer, P4 2.6 with 1GB DDR and a 9800XT.)
Anyway I read the log files again and it seems to be a 64-bit issue.
(Found what appears to be references to a few 64-bit versions of various DLL files at the bottom of that big text file.)

Yup same here, crashes when I put that artifact on the box...Running Vista 32 Ultimate, so it's not only a 64bit prob.
EDIT: Read a bit on the Deep Silver Forum (German and English), I think its the crack to be honest. It crashes at that spot no matter what OS you are using XP or Vista.
EDIT II: Quick fix, get the German NO DVD. EXE, save the ENGLISH ONE and replace it with the GREMAN one. Now load just before the crash, and play through (it should now work) and save. Now swap back the ENGLISH NO DVD.exe and you should be able to play on after the save. The reason why you can not keep the German.exe is that all text gets garbled.
Anyho worked for me, gonna play some more now
