I have problems with call of duty 4 holding on the changes i make on the settings. When i change the settings the game restarts and everything is fine. But when i quit the game and start it up the changes i made are lost.

Any idea what i can do so the game will save the changes ?

Had the same problem, didnt want to change the sound settings. I went in the cfg file and edited it manualy.

Go in Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\YOUR NAME and edit config.cfg. You just need to find the right code line to change

Make the config and profile files read-only?

If you're using Vista, then perhaps UAC interferes?

Thanks guy for the input. I actually forget all about these files. So what i did now was that i deleted the conf files and whent in the game and made a new ones.
