If the info that was given was fake then no harm done. What is the use of trying to protect fake information.

well, not all people actually use fake information when they lease webspace and protecting the privacy of your customers should be paramount for a company, especially if they are approached by the dogs of the content-mafia.

I don't know how much power Brein has. Are they like the RIAA? If someone is doing something illegial you would think they would use fake info if they could get away with it. If you are served with a court order I believe it would be in your best intrest to comply within reason.
I know the RIAA tried to go after Canadian ISP's after the Canadian court blocked them from going after indiv's. The larger ISP's refused and it went to court and it was blocked as well.

Well they list Nforce as a torrent site....so with that statement they have no credibility. IMHO (Not 100%) i think that article is completely full of miss information, and the author doesn't know what he/she is really talking about.

So NFOrce hosts torrent sites, so? Does your daily butcher check up every customer if they arent criminals? Just another paying customer.

And the TL is also legit because it has a disclaimer on the front page...

Because this forum isnt about torrent downloading, nor where to get them.

I'd say I have to agree. The forum nor anywhere on this site does it include links or information in relation of how to obtain whatever type of media. So while nforce may have gave server access to an illegal site, it doesnt mean they are held liable as, if im not mistaken, nforce doesnt control what its customers do with their server access.
All I suggest, is each of us be more careful when discussing things, if you catch my drift.

Discussion should not be an issue providing locations (links) are not given.
Nforce couldn't be brought down for hosting an illegal site. If that were the case
half the internet would be shut down at some point or another.

I am going to close this, if Rinze wants to re-open it because he feels it's safe to do so, then so be it. But discussing legal matters in the public space is not often sensible.
