Im just tired of waiting for this damn game
We've had to wait an extra 6 months
Now its still 4 months to go
After 4 years of waitng, all the good features will be taken out and made into expansion packs
so EA can screw us over again.
Why spend $50 for a game when they can bleed you out for $200 for all the expansions

Hence why I put teaches in quotes just like you did.

You know its going to happen though the super religious folk will try to boycott the game. It will backfire and perhaps even get TV media attention. Will Wright will be called a Darwinist and be added to the list of evil people who try to manipulated our children right next to Richard Dawkins or Harry Potter... and Potters not even real... funny how they give so much attention to fictional characters Wink

Yes some deranged theists believe both can mix however that isn't the popular opinion of the masses of theists. So this game is very likely to spark heated debate and be boycotted by christian organizations. Look at Harry Potter its just a fictional book and its been targeted. Even though the book doesn't insult christianity nor encourage the occult in any way.

Now if your a theist and are ashamed of the way of thinking of many of your brethren thats understandable but trying to hide it is just... I don't even have a word to express it. Also if your a theist who believes in evolution then please just stop riding the fence. Currently there are no religions that mesh well with evolution period. Your as shameful to me as those theists trying to ban Harry Potter are to you.

Strangely enough it would technically contain some of that however the process given would still be evolution. Plus it would only be the intelligent design of the species you play as.

Very rarely am I impressed by these types of videos but this one just makes me want this game even more. I love how unique each creature can be and how fun it looks to make them. I hope this game is going to be one of those games we look back on and never forget.

If this game is massively successful in both game play and sales then I would love to see it advance even further.

It looks like another sims to me. I'm sure it will be fun at first, but from all the videos I've seen, it apears that every creature you make only look different, in the end it all plays the same.

Only look different? Are you freaking kidding? The engine tries to guess how a 12-footed freak with 3 mouths would fight a 1-legged monster with 4 hands and a stinger that's on the end of a tail that goes over the head and for all you know could be its penis!

That's quite a lot more than just "looks different". It doesn't play the same AT ALL.

And you are incompetent ignorant American believing everything that you hear in media and thinking that if in your country priests claim dinosaurs lived with caveman, so they do that everywhere else.
You're prejudice is legendary and your knowledge of actual state of which we are talking about is comparable to nutcases familiarity with a Rubicon’s Cube.

Next time you give me an honour of quoting me at least do so also for my last message, where I actually explain from what view point I speak.

Like I said, form videos it just looks to me that way. You first make a microscopic creature and you play in 2d with it in some click mini game. Then you go to 3d mode with couple of periods where you build your creature and you get to see some wacky creations. Game engine is great and calculates for a lot of wacky stuff, but the point is always the same! Eat, breed and make an civilizations. All that bonus stuff about different possibilities is only graphical. Then you get into civ mode where again what creature you had previously doesn’t count for anything but graphics. Again you have some different blocks to chose of what to build, but all in all its still one simple civ building rts. If your creature holds its gun with a tail or a penis doesn’t matter for a tank.

And from what we’ve heard about the length of whole "cell to space time" game will end quite fast. So, when your done with one creature, you go back and make a new one. Again, same 2d part, same creature building, same civ part with space. Looks a lot like sims to me. Should be fun for a while, but I know I’ll get bored of it fast.

No he didn't.

But i agree with what you're saying. I too think I will get bored of it rather quickly if it plays like that. . . but I will reserve judgement till i actually play it.

I was hoping for something less gamey, but again I'm just drawing conclusions from the videos. I wanted it to be more simulation based, less conventional gameplay mechanics.

No that's my point, there's even seem to be a influx of new users on the site, 34 users in the last 24 hours if i recall correctly.
