soooooo i finally got the game... it runs pretty smoothly, graphics are decent but nothing to really get excited about... combat might be fun, its too hard to know if ill get tired of it... controls are needlessly complex i think, and so far the story just isnt gripping me. the OUTSIDE story seems interesting, its just a pity this assassins crap is getting in the way!!
and why the FUCK is it a mini-mission in itself to exit the game? is there a quick way to do it? (other than tabbing out of it and closing it that way) you basically have to exit the game TWICE, log back in, and THEN exit the game completely...

I'm sure everyone is aware of it, however in some games doing so has the possibility of corrupting your save data so probably quite prudent to ask instead of just trying it.

my question was less about getting out of the game quickly, and more about my surprise at how silly and drawn out something so simple and necessary as 'quit' was. its incredibly badly implimented.

I installed the game got to Jerusalem talked to 2 dudes and said fuck it to the game not for a second did I enjoy any of it and it reminded me of the spiderman games just with killing and no web swinging.

I've not got too far into it admittedly, just completed the 2nd memory slot, but I'm actiually finding it suprisingly good considerring some of the stuff I've seen on here.
Suppose it's just one of those games that comes down to taste. If you find stalking fun you'll like it, if you see stalking as the boring bit before the fun you won't.

This is the PC version though isnt it. Every other port seems to manage to put a simple 'quit to windows' feature in their games, no reason not too have one. |

Well your right I didn't enjoy Thief Deadly shadows either which everyone else seemed to love. What really ticked me off with this game isn't just the repetitive mini game like missions but rather the fact that I was able to take on 5 guards at once with out a problem... Thats not how a assassin is suppose to work. When I had to kill that arms dealer by the well I just did it in plain view of everyone killed all the guards that came up to me and then suddenly I'm not wanted anymore? As if the 50 NPC's couldn't tell the guards what I looked like?
The sneakiness of the game is also so lame. Praying with the monks? When I first did this I thought it was going to fail because it was so blatantly obvious I was wearing more things and even had some red on me. Yet the guards didn't find this even remotely odd.
On top of it the secret organization of assassins doesn't seem to be all that secret the days it stood and thousands of years in the future... Shouldn't the guards be looking for someone of my attire? Since everyone in the god damn assassins guild wears the same shit and its obvious public knowledge at this point.
