He's not bashing the game but giving his experience he encountered while testing it extensively. It's nice to see what someone with a clue and who actually tested MMO part of the game thinks of it. Was a little tired of reading all those biased opinions from noobs who played it for a few hours and were impressed just because it's new.

Darkergray, did you play L2 at launch ?, I did and it was much worse than AOC is now, heck I spent my first 3 days getting stuck in the stairs running up from the newbie start area....
As for the graphics, the game is shiny without the blood, it does not aim for realism and it's fine, the game is not about it, though to be honest, these days it's about korean goldfarmers, but thats besides the point.
AOC has bugs, it has graphical glitches, it has class balance issues, I do not disagree, but I would like to mention 1 single MMO that has been launched the last 5 years who did NOT suffer from any of these.
And I should mention that I have been Beta tester on pretty much all the biggest MMO's out, except for Shadowbane and FFXI, including L2, WOW, Horizon's, Anarchy Online, Everquest 2, Dark Age of Camelot, LOTRO, WAR, Eve Online, POTBS, COH and COV, Vanguard, Tabula Rasa, first and second version of it and tons of other smaller ones, including the horrible Korean ones.
So far I have seen some with a bit more polish than this, some with practically no polish and some that was a joke from the second it launched (I.e Vanguard and AO in it's time)
What im trying to say is, the things you complain about is not really anything you can use to complain about the GAME itself, it's polish issues and they all have them, so maybe these issues annoy you in particular, but they don't break the game and they don't really change much for those who want to try something new.
And I don't really get where you find the insults or the Epeen stroking, I was trying to make a point about the fact im not some newcomer who has just tried my first MMO, but sure, have fun with the personal insults, im sure they make you feel better.
Oh yeah and btw, when was the last time you played ?, go read the forum's and see how many of the problems were solved recently, not to mention that we were playing an older version.
Anyway enough arguing with you, You don't like it, I do like it, let people make up their own mind

He might be , but on some parts he is bashing the game , there is NO MMO that is bug free specialy not at the start , if he played WoW since release then he should know that WoW was filled and I mean literay filled with bugs.
Second he is giving HIS opinion of the game on some parts he mention how he dont like it and then suddenly starts saying how some things suck mainly cause of the bugs.
And for that reason I wanna try this game out myself and then give my oen opion on either pre-ordering it or saying fuck this.

just preordered the game after playing some more hours after the latest patch which greatly improved the performance for me, so i can finally run around and do quests etc without that stuttering.

Yeah is that like picking up the game for like £1 in the game store and then paying £5 to download lol which might take someone 3 extra days anyow lol ?
Game store i pre ordered from says 25th on the dates still which is annoying if no ones clued up to when it goes live for us here in uk.. other wise knowing shops i wont get my pre order till after its all gone live anyhow.

The dates are simple.
If you pay the Pre-Launch 5$, you get to download the game here and now, im getting it at 400kbs min atm, from Denmark.
Pre-Launch begin's all over the world on the 17'th.
This was changed, where before US Pre-Launch as 17'th, Launch the 20'th
EU was Pre-Launch 20'th, Launch the 23'rd
Now it's like this
US Pre-Launch - 17'th, Launch is 20'th
EU Pre-Launch - 17'th, Launch is 23'rd
So for the 5$ you get this
US - Chance to Download and Patch here and now, chance to play from the 17'th, 3 days ahead of time, 10 days Gametime before they begin charging Monthly Fee
EU - Chance to Download and Patch here and now, Chance to play from the 17'th, 6 days ahead of time, 10 days Gametime before they begin charging Monthly Fee.
Pre-Launch download is Torrent based, but using the Funcom Downloader, which can download with specific ports you choose and can get very good speeds (or crap, depending on where, who and different issues)
Oh yeah, and the "Level 20 levelcap" for pre-launch has been removed, you can now level all the way to 80 in Pre-launch, well in theory

lol feels like guildwars, thats the worst wannabe mmo ever, i hated nearly everything about that peice of crap.
any real mmo that like that in the slightest way is not going to be very good imo

but they are charging shipping costs
will they send the game to me?

They will send you the game. But since your pre-ordering the game, you will also recive a download link for early access. if your in europe, that means 6 days before retail release. This cost 5 EURO though, but gives you early access + 10 day play time.
