Man, I upgraded to latest nvidia beta drivers, and still no 1680x1050 in game.

vii) Why can’t I choose a higher screen resolution?

Higher resolutions require large amounts off video RAM. If GRID detects that your primary graphics card has less than 512MB of RAM, higher resolutions will be made unavailable to avoid poor performance and potential graphical issues.

Erm, I have the 320MB 8800 and it runs 1680x1050 on game startup for me, also runs perfectly

I love the sound... that crisp whatever flying through the room till it vanishes into the distance behind you, when you hit some scrap metal... yum yum

Will there be some mountain passes like in DiRT? I only drove on them Smile

The game is not working here. When I try to run the game, nothing happens. I tried to download it from Gamezone and Fileplanet, but it's the same. Where's the problem?

Seeing as this is not an off road racer, it won't.

Arrrgh. Crying or Very sad Are you sure? I mean mountain passes are as offroad as a race in the city... to me at least.
That would/will, sadly, reduce the fun for me

Yeah it's great sometimes I watch an accident like 20 times, so entertaining. Watching replays is also big fun coz they are so well done and you can notice all the tiny details developers put in which you can't notice when driving at 300Km/h Smile

On first thought i'd 2nd that, but setting the steering sensitivity from 100% to 40% made the handling a lot better.

This game looks, runs and plays great.

And i like that you can choose an audio name, Snake ftw

Handling feels great on my X360 conroller really, and I'm seriously loving this game. Graphics are great and although it's arcadey, with all the driving assists turns off it gets much much better and the drift mode's really enjoyable, much better than any drift mode I've tried in other games. I reached the 1,9M mark with an 1,2M combo and I'll keep practicing when I have time.

Is anyone having a problem with a joystick (logitech 2 precisely). I chose the custom controller and redefined all the keys. But once i get into the game, nothing works, (kb or the controller), the car just sits there. Am i doing something wrong?

Most probably you're doing nothing wrong. It's quite known since Dirt that if your controller's unsupported, you're in for a shitty ride into ...shittiness. Dirt was UNPLAYABLE without one of the supported conrollers, and I'm guessing the same for Grid.

Seriously now, I don't know the answer to your issue though.

You made sure you set your custom key profile active?
I redefined some keys too, but ingame they didn't work. Turns out the custom key-profile wasn't selected.

It worked in dirt, so i dont know what the problem is. And i mean what game doesnt support logitech joystick. Just tried using kb to play, and its freaking impossible to control, so i just turned around and hit someone head on causing a nice collision.
Edit, yeah i did select the custom profile (a check mark on the bottom).
