Can someone give me some tips on how to do the mission where you gotta take out the guy thats beating up the faggot guy florian? I just cant seem to pass it. any tips and strats are welcomed.

Get a car instead of the stupid scooter that is parked upstairs... very easy to get cops after you if you shoot in the park. That sucks because you will have to go get florian after you have killed the bastard.

I chased him till the fag gets on the scooter, chased him a bit more and then he stopped and attempted to run. then i gunned his ass down
Now the next mission for the fag is giving me trouble. I hate the chase missions.
I did all the Assassin missions and all other missions that were currently available so im stuck trying to beat this one mission to progress.
Well the game is freaking amazing. Im only at 40% but i already logged in 21 hours, by just fucking around the city and killing those pigeons (since i want to get that gunship). At first i didnt like the new handling but once i got used to it, i feel like its a such an improvement over old one, that i dont think i wanna replay old GTAs anymore. Firefights are also greatly improved, with the addition of cover system and the combination of free aim and lock on. I can see this game being so much improved on pc though, that i'll buy it again once it comes to PC. Everything will be better on pc, from graphics to controls (mouse + kb for shooting, and joystick for driving). The only two disappointments for me so far are that you cant stack up on weapons (like in previous games), and the radio. I was planning to save the money (since so far, money is pretty useless) and buy 9999 of every weapon from rpgs to m4s and aks, and just go on some roof and do a shootout. Well then i found out that you can only carry limited amount of weapons and i was a bit disappointed. I got on a roof and started firing on choppers and police and very quickly ran out of ammo (was at max when i got up), and i couldnt even take out the chopper with m4s and mp5s. But its very minor, and again will be easily fixed on pc.
Also im not liking the radio very much. Every previous gta had an awesome radio station (or more) for me, that i always tune to, that is full of hits. This one, not so much. Im liking classical radio station, because of the rap songs they have. Im also extremely disappointed in the Russian station. So many great songs they couldve chosen, but they had to freaking chose glukoza and some other crap. I like Tsoi and B-2 (i think its B-2), and thats it, wouldve been better if they filled it up with just tsoi and B 2 songs alone.
But those are minor annoyances, that can be or will be fixed once it hits PC.

yeah man, the reggae station is the best one i think. for talk, the best one is integrity (makes me crack up sometimes) and PLR
Still, GTA SA had the best music. They had STP and Alice in Chains and pearl jam on that one rock station. that was the best. Listening to Plush by STP while killing people lol

I wanted to use the built-in feature in gta4 that detects what music you're listening to, and sends you a text-message in game.
Anyway i heard a great song on the radio when i was on my lunchbreak, and i have an old dictaphone so i used it to record a part of the song. Then when i got home i tried holding the dictaphone up to my xbox headset and play the song when calling ZIT in the game but it didn't work. I think it's because the microphone on the headset is bad and when it hears the song it cannot detect it?
The dictaphone has something that looks like a usb connector on it, i just dont have the right cable for it yet, but i if i go and buy one it should work right?
I think that the ZIT feature of gta4 is probably the best thing i've ever heard of, just think how much money they could make by releasing it as a normal program for windows!
I'm not smart enough to "crack" the game so i can have just that function on my windows.
varj you're joking right? really? I know I must be falling for an excellent troll but I'm gonna aswer this anyway. ZiT only works on the songs IN GAME. You can't use it to identify songs from "the outside world". ZiT is a parody on (at least I know my cell provider did it) similar programs cell companies have tried. As far as I know, the thing never took off, and the results were shoddy at best. ZiT only works in game cause all the game has to do is check which song it's playing on the radio. It doens't actually listen to the song it just pulls the name from it's internal database.
The thing varj is looking exists, though... too bad I can't remember the name of it. I've seen people using it on their mobile phones.
