Whoops. You're absolutely right, of course! Forgot which forum I was in on the console they serve their purpose in usability, but what I really like about them is the aesthetics I admit.

really, I hated the Dirt menu's, I mean they look nice but they were akward to manoeuvre through, for PC users that is. | I actually prefer these menus over many others, because others have a fatal flaw this one doesn't have: Wait time. Other menus insist on completing their animation on usage until you may use it again. The DiRT menu did not have this problem, but of course you need to remember where whichoption is, but often a chaincombo of enter was enough anyway, so it was fast!
At least i think it was this way in DiRT, but i might be confusing it with something else

WOW.... just WOW
I'm amazed by this game. So polished, so smooth, so good looking and that's just first impressions. I played it on ultra high settings at 1680x1050 4xMSAA and 8xAniso and it was silky smooth. You get 20 players on screen, huge clouds of smoke and a insane crash and it still remains smooth!
I love physics and damage. I love how it feels when you drive over the bumps. I love that opponents make mistakes. I love how the cars handles. I love main menu and music. I don't fucking care if it's arcade, because it's incredible fun to play so there, all you haters now can have red faces.

Must agree, looks like a great game. Engine is leaps and bounds more optimized than Dirt. I wonder if it's possible to take the files from Dirt and try to run that game with the new engine. Directory structure is the same, so it might be possible.

vii) Why can’t I choose a higher screen resolution?
Higher resolutions require large amounts off video RAM. If GRID detects that your primary graphics card has less than 512MB of RAM, higher resolutions will be made unavailable to avoid poor performance and potential graphical issues.

If somebody told me this is the new Need For Speed game, I would have believed it. No realism whatsoever. I'll pass on this one.

How the fuck do I play online with friends? I hope this online "lobby" is not how it's gonna be in retail.
