it worked fine on my box with the NTSC xbe, but i notice audio sync problems all over the place, odd. but after playing for 5 minutes, it didnt really thrill me, i mean, you only control 1 character, and see only one character, yet in fights you see more. maybe i don't have an imagination anymore.

Yeah the lip syncing is way off in the engine rendered cutscenes. The Swedish setting still has English audio but the subtitles are in Swedish. I set it that way to see if the lip synching was set to it but the audio is always English.
Sedolf, how is the lip syncing during the cutscenes on your PAL box? If anyone else can tell us please do.

I like it,been playing for about 3 hours now, just playing through the mines levels now - does remind me of final fantasy alot with its battle and attack systems but set in Middle Earth settings. Good use of cutscenes by Gandelf to progress the story aslo,
Just unlocked evil mode also, so you get to replay just battles on each campaign as the evil guys that you 1st encountered and if you successfull you unlock bonus items things which you then add to your main saved game.

Perfect Lip Sync for me:
"Return To The Shadows, Slave Of Sauron", is the first real sentence in the game and its perfectly readable from the lips.
Havent played it any further, but seems that lip sync problem are only on NTSC boxes.
As soon as I set the Game Region to NTSC, the game doesnt boot anymore.

XBOX.NTSC.PAL.Video.Mode.Selector-GLOBALiSO
Enigmah Videomode Switchdisc
but your TV has to be able tu run PAL (I dont know if NTSC tvs can do that)
Because if you are in Europe and set the PAL xbox to NTSC on a non compatible TV it all goes black and white.
I used that setting to play James Bond: EON but the Auto Region setting in the Bios does the same I think. (for PAL boxes)
Btw: The LOTR Game is way cool, I played it Coop with a friend till Moria now..great Fun!

w00t. changed it to PAL and it works.
Used:
video_select_v2_enigmah-x to switch my XBOX to PAL mode,
and luckily my TV supports PAL so, works like a charm now.

I've been playing this game since yesterday and I'd say it's a 8/10 on my list. If you're looking for a good r o l e p l a y i n g game then this is it (allmost). If you think Diabloesque games are RPG think again... the amount of times you click your mouse has more with action to do than roleplaying.
The downs are (IMHO) that they stick too close to the mainstory in LOTR instead of doing somehing more unique and that gameplay is quite linear. But if you want a good turnbased (thank god!) RPG, try this out.

Sounds like your TV doesn't support PAL.
Try opening your tv's menu and seeing if you can switch between video modes. |

I've met up with the Ranger (the one that was lying down hunting the wargs or whatever). Strolled along with him for awhile, then I found the first well of healing, the thing where you pick up an Elven artifact or something.
The guy told me that the orc that he fought would need to find one as well, where do I go now?
I can't seem to find any other passages through the run down fort I'm in, and if I backtrack, I feel like I'm definately going in the wrong direction.
Help?

Thanks. I'd tried seen something about the white button swapping characters, but tried it whilst running around and thought it just swapped the character you controlled. I just tried it in a battle and it lets you swap the currently selected character for one of the ones not being used.

This game sucks now!
I'm stuck in Helms deep, after the big fight with Aragorn as ally.
I have all my ppl with full HP fighting against a Troll and 3 Uruk Berserks - sounds easy but: It's never my turn, I once had it that all my characters were wiped out before I could do something because it was enemy turn 13 times a row!! (Yes I counted)
That sucks, even Final Fantasy Crap wasnt that unfair.
I need a godmode cheat.....asap...

How the fuck did you finish Helm's Deep?
I tried it again now, those Uruk Berserks always slaughter me to death, but not because they are so strong. It's because they attack 4 times a row each and that can kill a char pretty damn fast.
Anyways, I revived party members 6 times and used the Party Full Heal thingy 3 times but still lost. Mainly because my characters miss 60% of their attacks.
The game REALLY sucks especially when you accomplish all chapters before with ease and the get stuck because it suddenly gets extremely hard.
And no I'm surely not gonna spend the next 5 days leveling up my characters in previous worlds just to beat those damn Berserks...
stupid game..gonna play Halo 1 again. (Now I know again why RPG's suck - I never ever managed to finish one because I always got stuck somewhere)

Am I the only one that has problems with DAGGER releases??
When I extract the game from the rars, there's just one file that window does not recognize... When I open this file in winrar it says the ISO is in there, but when I try to extract it my comp starts fucking freezing or giving CRC errors. I had the same thing with Guilty Gear Relaoded...
