Well, looks like all the 24" *VA panel monitors (2407wfp, 2408wfp, etc) have crazy input lags, which looks very unacceptable (like 30-60ms lol). S-IPS are the best but ahah 700$ for the lowest entry, right.
I'm currently looking at the BenQ G2400W. TN panel ( ), but looks quite good overall. HDMI input is great for my soon to have 360 (I'm selling out as well  ), and it has 1:1 pixel mapping, so 1980x1080 stays 1080 and is not stretched to 1200.

Samsung, good price/quality/value etc...but you know that. Ok they had some probs with their 22" range, but I am sure that's all fixed now. Or Dell like SpykeZ said.
Actually the only 2 brands of monitors I ever owned, so...
But hey, for the 360 I would go for a 36"-38" LCD TV! or something, bigger impact

Go for BenQ Leo, if you aim at gaming. Gnusmas are good but too expensive.

Dell has some good monitors (on the VA panels side), but the have a very bad input lag. I almost went with the 2408wfp, but damn, it has 50ms+ input lag. There's a video on youtube of it, it's very annoying. The previous model (2407wfp-hc) also had such problem, with slightly less input lag of 15ms.
I'll most probably be going with G2400W.
Edit: Well, ordered it just now...  Hope I like it.

Well just got it, and it's fucking HUGE and I LOVE it! 1080p movies ftw! Now I just have to order my 360.

I never said it did indeed. But in order to play the most demanding games on 1080p requires SLI, and for what? 720p upscaled is great enough for me.

Not really, they are good for 3-4 years plus. By then I'll probably get the newer, better console.

so, i still got xbox 1 coz some of the old games won't run properly or at all on 360
it aint that bad to have it all ya know
