why did you sell your console again? because you wanna grow up? what does having a console have to do with adulthood? Im 31 and have 2 consoles plus a gaming computer. There's nothing wrong with playing videogames in your free time. As long as you dont let it dominate your life you know?

your're crazy... I'm 40, have a wife a kid and earn £40,000 a year ($80,000) and own a gaming PC, 360, PSP, DS. I try to play at least ten hours a week, usually two long evening sesions, while the misses watches the soaps, and still have time to go out, spend time with my son, have personnal creative projects and constantly learn. (I work in video games).
Your just getting old in mind, not age. You gotta do what you wanna do. Gamming helps me relax. Without it I wouldn't be able to do all the other cool things I do.

No personal hatred whatsoever, just loling at the attention you're trying to get with the thread. If it was your PERSONAL choice etc then you'd keep it PERSONAL (i.e. not making a thread) instead of trying to label everyone else as gamer geeks with no RL. Simple as that.

Well i guess i can sympathize, I have the exact same thing going for me when i get hooked to a MMO. DAOC and WOW has stolen alot of my time, social life and personal health
And as far as MMO's go im the same way, it's cold turkey or nothing. Im four-five months WOW-sober atm and i dont see myself going back (again) but we'll see when Warhammer gets out 
I cant identify with non-MMO-gaming with which i've never had the addiction to, but as i said, i can sympathize.
