Anybody having trouble getting online with the ps3 version? Says the provider is unavaliable to me.

That's what I would expect it to say since the game was released today and everybody is trying to connect and the PSN can't handle it.

And yeah, according to the MANAGER (who is more informed about the product he sells than you and i can confirm this as my buddy called me up a short while ago and confirmed it) the 360 version is 5 hd discs where as the ps3 version is one.

hmm, maybe he was talking about extra content since he bought the special addition.
I checked him earlier and i did see 5 discs. probably extra content. my bad |

I got the PS3 version, and I have to agree that it looks a bit grainy. There are some filters, but you can clearly see many big pixels, especially in the background (playing on a 40" Full HD).
I played for about 5 hours. Haven't had any popups so far, no buildings vanishing or anything. Framerate is a big laggy sometimes, but nothing that makes the game unplayable. Overall framerate I'd say framerate is the same as on X360.

I've seen no major lag or popups with the Xbox version, the HDD is virgin though (bought it today). The graphics aren't top notch, but which GTA had the best graphics available? The detail is awesome, the view distance is pretty good, and the weather effects are very good. If it looked any better, we'd be watching a slideshow. I hope I won't get freezes, I bought a console to be free of that shit.

up to about 51% Single Player but spent all day playing mp onlive, I never thought I would say this but the sheer scale of the game online is the best MP experience Ive ever had, Ive never laughed and just had my jaw on the floor than I did today playing cops and crooks, best MP ever (when you do it right with the right people)

got a question fo those of you who have it.
im on the mision whee you have tail the drug dealer to his supplier unnoticed. but everytime he notices me and start to run, i chase him and at a certain part he disappears. any help pleas?

 Spoiler: | Ok. You follow him. Then he runs, which is supposed to happen. He goes into a building and up about 4 flights of stairs (look at the radar and you'll see the ^ on the icon meaning he is above you) Then you will see a door and it'll ask you to shoot the lock.
The building he goes in is past a wall you must jump over. Good luck man. |

Then he later jumps a wall and goes into a building that will be on your left RIGHT after you jump the wall. Then it is up the stairs a bunch of flights. I wish I could give you more information, but that is the best I can do from memory. Good luck bro. |

Seems the framerate gets better later on ? Probably said before (I think I remember it being said anyhow). But the first hours or so there where some really disturbing fps-issues for me (especially at the day), but now its pretty smooth. Maybe some kind of brain illusion and I just got used to it. 
Some hours/missions later now and I love it even more. Just been doing Single-player since I got back from work, more multiplayer tomorrow!

finally i completed the game, went for the revenge ending, dunno how much it differs from the other ending but its pretty depressing and a tad anti climatic. 71% 0 pigeons haha didnt see even one in my travels
