Can anyone care to explain whats "Instanced" Zones mean?
Wow example, think every zone, STV, ungoro & ashenvale (and all the rest) an own instance, when you go from one area to the next, you get an loadingscreen.
And if there are to many ppl in one zone, another pops up, like for example ungoro #2.
Hope it helps.
Dont really know how to explain without mentioning wow tho...
According to a dev in the official forums, funcom wants to keep the pop limit on servers to around 2500-3000k. Allegedly, the gameworld is also 3x the size of WoW. How is that going to work and why would you even need instances if this is true? With population that low and the gameworld that big, i expect a whole lot of empty space. It will probably be hard to find players to quest with as well.

instances are game events that are isolated to you or your party... meaning no other player can stumble on it.
commonly, its a mission you take; an instance of the mission is created for you/party, and no one else can see it/know its there. so, no matter how many people are playing said mission at a given time, they are all doing it separately.
unlike a city in the gameworld, where everyone can see/interact with each other, instances are unique to you and isolated from other players.

My question is will i be able to walk around freely kill mobs and bump into other ppl in the world...or it will be like guildwars when only in a city i can see ppl talk to them party with them and each?....

The first one, just that there won't be as many people in the places.
i wait and see for now. It all depends on how many players actually play the game (retail , not beta) and how many servers there are, what the cap limit will be per zone etc etc. If its like AO , and i highly believe it will be, server structure side, it will have big zones (similar to WoW's areas) and inside zones (temples, dungeons etc.) with a cap limit (like in AO, where for example tara (big ugly lvl 300 dragon in a pvp zone ^^ ) has a cap of 60 people per instance. Unlike in Wow tho, it's "free for all", i.e. anyone can enter that instance at the same time, and once it reaches 60, a new one opens up. Btw this isn't a server overload issue or anything, it's simply to prevent making the fight too easy (just as in WoW instances have a limit of like 40 or so).
Anyway, Anarchy Online was instanced only (well) for inside missions (inside caves, houses etc) but the whole outside world was zoned (big ones) (free for all).
my current opinion war > AOC
all this instanced crap sucks, and the pvp sounds dull, much rather have wars proper RVR and all the stuff about leveling the citys up sounds really cool.
conan just seems likes its going to be the next eq2, not a bad game with pretty graphics but nothing special
WAR brings real world PVP to the current gen MMO world. Granted, its not a major change to the genre, but it is something new. Even still, making something totally different to WOW would just be foolish, despite peoples opinions, it has 9 million subscribers for a reason.

Hello if i play it i can already patch game to lastest version and if i click play then the screen goes black is this normal ? (i have sound)
is this because it isn't started yet?
heh wait until you guys play WAR..you will change your opinion real quick. Neither games are mind blowing but AoC is at least a decent PvP experience where as WAR is a literal carbon copy of WoW.. but done way way wrong.
