Mazerunner trilogy director Wes Ball has been tasked to develop a new "Planet of the Apes" film. This early in development, it's unknown if it will be a reboot or will be connected to the latest films.

The original movie was cool, all the new computer Ape ones are garbage and unmemorable. Maze runner director is hit and miss, the first movie was not bad bu the next two were quiet poor.

Yeah it's also inconsequential. No one cared the OG apes looked stupid, because it's the story, and ending hat make it memorable.
Why go see the new green screen apes movie? This story has been told and is finished.. durr I want to see computer apes explode for 90 mins is the only reason to watch this.
