Hmm well I've got the files, the DL burner, and the verbatim disk.... now I just need to figure out how to burn this bad boy correctly. I've downloaded IMGBurn, but have no idea how to properly work it. I've also done some google searching for a backup guide, but everything seems outdated. Any tips/links for burning this guys, or is it just as simple as opening IMGburn selecting the iso and burning it onto a DL dvd?

Install IMGBurn then open the .dvd file with it. Select the speed and click the burn icon on the bottom. It's really easy. Just make sure you use the .dvd file so it sets the layerbreak.

it seems to me as if the pal version in combination with a benq favors the appearence of these errors

as far as i can remeber u choose burn image and then select the .dvd file not the .img as the .dvd file has the layer break info in it

lol I think I just wasted a DVD, did not know I was supposed to burn it at 2.4x. I burned it at 10x :/ Oh god, tonight is going to be so much fun if this works.

There is a question I had about the NTSC release. Does this one have any cuts in it or are we safe to say we have all the violence and gore to expect with a Grand Theft Auto Game..?

WOW!!!
I didn't even think you could get speeds like that on DL Media. I always burn at 2.4x and I never have a problem. Most of the time I get creative and try 4x or 6x and it never works in my 360, I get the "please insert a 360 game" message or "unknown disc".

I use Xbox Backup Creator, as I BELIEVE it sets the layer info for you if you only are working with an img or iso.

Did you people have problems with slow loading of textures? If I driving car fast sometimes I dont see the road, and always its little low loading textures, I have xbox without HDD, is this problem?

cant believe after all this wait, its now down to 5 days...wow!!!! They are actually releasing the game here the same day as the rest of the world. usually its 1-2 days after the release.

I'm so sick of IMGBURN. It seems with EVERY Xbox360 game, I get one disk read error crap out, then the next burn is fine. And it always seems to crap out in the EXACT same spot.

No response regarding the hd's but it seems they do.

thx for the replies guys!
thing is i've tried different media (always at 2,4x and yes, mkm001), different xboxes (all of them with benq), isos from different sources, with and without a HD, ixtreme1.4 8x and 12x, low-/high-def, burned the iso with different drives (matshita, LG so far), and so on..
kinda running out of ideas gradually...
only way around the graphical glitches so far is to drive veeeery slowly >.<

I was going to burn this, but I started thinking is this already stealth? If I burn it just by selecting the dvd file, doesn't that leave me open to getting banned?
Are there any instructions on how to stealth it to prevent a future ban?
Everybody is saying they are just burning it with img burn and chosing the .dvd file to burn it at 2.4x. Should I stealth patch this? and how do I do that?
