My GF is using my old 754 socket system I used to use for gaming.
AMD 64 3000+
1 Gig pc3700 Kingston hyperX
x800GTO AGP
Well the x800 is crapping out and it doesn't like timeshift at all which is pissing her off cause she wants to play it but can only do so for about 20 minutes before the card craps out on her. So I was trying to find her an AGP card which went like shit.
Well I just ordered an 8800GT and told her she can have my 7900GS KO but will have to upgrade a bit. Then I found this...

you should take the x800 out, unscrew the fan and get all of the dust out of the copper lines in the heatsink, i bet there loaded with dust.
i played timeshift fine on my x800. but you should upgrade her comp anyway

well, with her card crapping out, I can use it as an excuse to 1) Get her off that crappy card adn 2) get her off that 754 socket system to an AM2 |

754 lmao, oooold school nukaa!! which is why im making her upgrade, am2 board comes with am2 cpu and memory. so it's a great deal |
