usually south park either had funny references to events and people (and these were based on certain things and not completely made up) or, when they decided to go the senseless way here and there it was the " WTF! LOL!" kind of senseless humor with really wacky ideas and so on, in the new eps most of that is missing.
Exactly what I do miss sometimes in sp, example: Barbrady walks into Mr. Tweaks coffee shop and Mr Tweak asks him "Good morning officer, the usual?" and then bitch slaps him with a cat across the face to what mr Barbrady responds "Thanks, bye" more serious these new episodes are .... but still funny as hell, manbearpig was too funny.
Never thought I'd see the day when the creators of sp would defend Britney Spears though, they always manage to shock and surprise you and they found a cure for aids as well nice start to a new season. It was a good point though, poor people are pretty much screwed when they get hiv but rich ones like Magic are 'immune'
