Every single release of crysis on usenet seems to have people complaining about viruses... whats the deal here?

I believe its only the keygen that has the virus or trojan included on the ISO.

Keygens formula are around the same codec as a virul program or file. Therefore the anti-virus actually thinks it is a virus when it is not....it only acts like a virus does.
