ain't it cool review / preview said there is no local multiplayer
I hope there is at least system link, which I am guessing there in despite the article since some multiplayer modes say (online only). Will be pretty awesome running with all our 3 360's(2 of which were recently brought back from the dead thanks to x-clamp fix). Should be fucking awesome lanparty material.

Could you please show me where they've stated there won't be any System Link? Split-screen is obvious, but I haven't heard anything about system link.
Local multiplayer may or may not be just split-screen. So I hope that when they say local mp, they mean split-screen. As I see no valid reason to not have system link. Both players still have two xboxes, only difference, they don't play over live.
i think local play normally coverings sys link. also, some review would have mentioned it by now since there is so much talk on the online / mp aspects.
perhaps sys link with just 2 people, since there seems to be no split-screen, would make the area simply too vast to have close quarters fun? - 2cents!

Why the hell would that even enter into it? If you boycott any products published by EA you are missing out and punishing alot of hard-working and kickass devs. Alot of ppl are forced into working for a company they resent, but should they be punished for it? Those screenshots look like they have some kind of filter on, especially the one with Niko running up the stairs. Look at the background, it looks like a painting with smudged faces and details (maybe its some artsy fartsy filter you can use when taking a screen?). But when was GTA about graphics, its all about the gameplay and judging by that OXM "review" it will not disappoint. Once it hits PC, the custom models will be incredible judging by custom made models for SA, which look amazing.
