Screens look fine to me. Turok style isn't all sharp and realistic.. it's dinosaur hunting in a lush and fantastic jungle.

I was talking about the low-poly models, not the game's style, which I like very much. I guess all that grass can't be shown on a console without lowering overall quality...

First you want outrageniuos graphics but when game come out you all whine about requiments!
Look for Studio HiCZoK movies and arts !

I'm sure in motion it won't look as bad, but those shots weren't good. Taking shots is also art, it sells your game. Those shots won't sell many copies. |

 High poly games require more ram, not processing power. Consoles have low poly models because they have 512MB ram.
Crysis didn't run well on 2x8800GTX because it wasn't properly optimized and used shaders extensively, not because of high poly models.

It won't run on 60fps, something most of us with 8800GTX consider a must when paying for such an expensive card. But you know, had the gameplay been that good, I'd probably forgive the 30fps I get.

I wasnt only talking about tha number of polys, but i had to refer to them aswell,and i wrote special extra high effects... those are what eat up your hardware... crysis wasnt optimised ok, but still if it was it would need a pretty powerfull system.And i wasnt talking about you, It just that as HiCZoK.Std wrote people dont know what they want, good graphics=high req.s, or mediocre graphics, lower req. Either way they just cry for the opposite one...
ps. Again LeoNatan you mistaken what I wrote, I like Crysis, I played it through on max. with my config (below). I was satisfied aswell with my 20-30fps. But if you take (and im sure you have) a look in the Crysis topic most people just wine about not being able to get 60+ fps even with 2x8800GTX... to them max is 1080p 16x aa etc...
ASUS M2N-E SLi , AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800 , 4 x 1 GB Kingston DDR2 800Mhz , Zotac 8800GT 512MB , Samsung 320GB + WD 500GB all this in a Raidmax Sagitta 2 with a 22" Acer AL2216W TFT , and a Genius SW 5.1 HT.

crysis may not be properly optimized but it sure is very tweakable, I for one dont enjoy spending hours trying this, changing that, or doing this to get the game to run and look the way it should because the devs didn't take the time to add in more pre set settings HOWEVER other people spend the time to tweak this and that so download their time and work and try their configs to get the game the way you want it.
To me crysis is nothing more than a game to benchmark future hardware, it does have its moments that I will remember for a long time over other games but they are out weighed by having to play on all low online on MESA with 32/32 players, and having to change settings on a few of the maps because the frame was so fucked up.

it comes out tomorrow 4/15 so will probably be here very soon, I want to play it as well, I loved the old turok, and killing dinosaurs... well sounds a lot funner than playing assassins creed or should I say WATCHING ass's creed lol, nothing like a pc game that's a big long freaking movie and hardly any gameplay. or hey I can play R6V2... pfft I hate PC gaming when I'm not playing an MMO, get bored so quick

Im suprise to see poeple still waiting for this game on PC with all people have said from the X360 version. Turok is like Assassin's Creed, its good the first 30 minutes.
