Yeah, playing FM2 online every week, mostly on weekends. 8 friends, B or A class cars = a shitload of fun.
Also, we've just started doing more serious drifting-events, so much fun!

Devil May Cry 4 on PS3. Not bad but not great either. Graphics are really nice, but that's it. God Of War is a much butter hack'n'slash game...

Frontlines - 8/10 - good solid single player campaign, needs to be longer. Good online mode, reminds me of Battlefield a lot, very large maps, sniper rifle is not fantastic that helps with the campers. cool

Yeah it's still hard as hell but i can't even imagine doing it with one player. My friend and I tried legendary and basically the tactic was -- One sniper and one rusher, that way when someone would inevitable die we could re-spawn instead of getting overwhelmed and both dying.

Been playing more of Halo 3 on legendary, managed to get through the section that follows the smashed up highway, that includes the valley where you first meet a heavy tank along with a massive concentration of enemies........
Managed to get passed that checkpoint by nursing a Jeep (Fuck knows what any of the names are), getting out running forward to activate another wave of badguys then running back to use the mini-gun on the back of the jeep.....
Funny thing was, that valley was one of the hardest points of the game on the second hardest level because I didn't have the Jeep, but on the hardest level, you can position your vehicle underneath the highway bridge and the bombardment from the tank just hits the top of the bridge.......
The game is much more fun when it changes from run and gun, to survival and weapon management tbh.....

Army of Two - 7/10 just. Pretty good game, the play mechanics were not quite right, would have like to have been able to wall hug, like GOW or GRAW. They could have toned the bad language down as it was a tongue in cheek game anyway and could have appealed to a larger audience that way. Some crappy load times, like the shopping sections. Pretty good story, good laughs, nice character models, loved the back to back shootouts. Wide open for a sequal now

Army of Two 7/10 aggro concept looked appealing in training vid, but in the game levels picking all enemies off by yourself without even moving was quicker. Parachuting and sniping was nice.
The Club 3/10 jeesus...
Lost Odyssey 9/10 although i've only finished Disc1 yet

Playing co-op with my gf, and its pretty fun actually. We loved the Video Game-level, all the funny references
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance - 9/10
Replaying this one again, just cause its so damn awesome. |
Is it MGS2 on xbox you are playing? Have it burned, but never had the urge to play it thru. |
Yep, it was MGS2: Substance i played.. I wasn't finished with the game when i posted that, but now that im done i remember why i love it so much. MGS1 + 2 are so fucking awesome together.. Sure, now, some years later since my last MGS2 playthrough, the characters are a bit more cheesy, but the story still owns.

RSV2 - 8/10 could have been a 9 or 9.5 if it wasn't for a) slowndown in framerate and b) sub par AI on your teammates sometimes and the trigger points of the enemies (how could they possibly see me ducking behind that crate from 50yds away in the dark

Halo3 - Decided to give it another run out on Heroic or was it Legendary - whatever. Is it my imagination or do the weapon sounds now sound louder after the update. I could be imagining it, anyway, I am enjoying this far more than I did first time round, I suspect it has something to do with expecting too much from a over hyped title. I will take this as a lesson
