I read somewhere that the sound issue is from having the 4.00 version of eax.dll, and that replacing it with the 4.01 version fixes the issue. Can someone PM me a link for the new version, I cannot find it anywhere.

Yeah so I have to say after playing this game briefly they did a way better job porting assassin's creed then this POS and I think the first one was way better. This one feels like a rushed arcadish FPS. Hopefully a couple of patches will make the experience better but overall I think it sucks donky dick.

found it in FEAR Perseus Mandate installation directory. havn't tried it yet. i suggest you back up the old file first just in case it doesnt work

Does anyone know if the PC version of this game has the face mapping in it? If so how do you do it?

It has the face mapping, but apparently it works for some and not for others.
For me, it sits there and says "initializing camera" and does nothing, although my webcam is hooked up correctly, and works with numerous other applications.

I think the realistic difficulty is spot on, suits well for this kind of game. Depends on your playing style really, easy for rambo, realistic for rainbow. I prefer realistic, 'cos this is realistically approached game afterall.
Anyone else think the single player campaing favors markmanship a lot? I have markmanship at 13 ar the moment, whereas assault is 6..
Good game so far though, would really like to test if the multiplayer is any good, maybe worth buying for?

You have to reset the entire character's appearance. Stupid if you ask me.
Just click "Rest appearance" and you'll be asked again what sex you want () and so on...

i cant pass the mission that u are alone... u have 30 enemies in the same area and 3 shots u are dead..
CRAP!

Plan your moves use silencer etc.
At least that was what I did.

if i try to quit back to the main menu after playing the story the game hangs on the loading screen. i have to reset the PC

Network Connections > Advanced > Advanced Settings then put Hamachi on highest spot under Connections, and regional settings doesn't change a thing as I'm using swedish and it's working.
