this feels more like a tech demo than anything to me...
The game holds ur hand the entire time.. its pretty much "go here and press this key"
The game looks stunning.. and i love the music and sound..
but really... the gameplay ???

The gameplay is fun, if you like jumping from rooftop to rooftop, and murdering hundreds of guards.
Stealth assassination 0wns.

It takes almost 3 missions before you get a bit of freedom

I just wish they let you skip the boring dialogues that happens every time you save a citizen. >.< it's getting really repetitive and Im not even half way through the game yet.

Lower your sound acceleration (lowering to basic helped me). Using onboard sound? |

The game, although a bit repetitive, is a breath of fresh air compared to the stuff in the market today.
I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel
And for those not aware, the Assasins cult in the game did actually exist during the middle ages. They were an offshoot Muslim sect called the Hashshashin, from which the word "Assasin" was derived.

The sound issue pisses me off. I have to turn off acceleration for my Audigy 2 on WindowsXP? Weird... Otherwise I get weird crackling and stuff.

After the end-credits, your are still in-game. But I still cant get logged in on the doctors com or the com in the presentation room. Anyone got logged in somehow?

Have you stolen the access key from the professor earlier in the game? If not you are fuxxed I guess.

After the end credits, there are 2 new emails on the prof's comp and when you access the last secret memory in the animus, you get a little text file telling the end of the Altaîr story - kinda. Stupid way to end it :/ I wonder how many people have overseen it.

| Spoiler: | You needed to steal his penkey earlier. It's kind of dumb I agree. There are no hints or tips that even suggest it's possible. After that you can use his computer to get a code and you can find Lucy's passkey on the bed. Use that to access her computer and get the other code. Then you go in the conference room and use the terminal to read some other files that tell you about the next two games and potential times and areas that you may visit. |
I can't wait for 2 and 3. I hope they come out soon.
