I was walking home from work last night and decided to take the long way around just because it was a starlit sky and as i was observing it all i basically had the exact same thought as you Syco

I know, makes me sad sometimes too.
Cause i watch alot of star trek and stargate and stuff and it makes me want to travel to other worlds and meet other beings all the more.
Im hoping i'll atleast get to go to mars sometime in my 60's you know? long shot, but still, i can hope

If only all that money that went to 'cleaning' Iraq and Afganistan was sent to Space program, we would probably be already on Mars... I only hope that I'll reincarnate into some cool future

Ive been thinking that for years too. All those billions of dollars could be spent on better things that could or would better mankind.
Hasnt the US spent something like 100billion or more on the war in Iraq? Imagine if that money went into the space program and finding clean fuel sources and other such things.
That would really be a step toward bettering mankind....rather than killing some dictator in some obscure country that really didnt pose a threat.

offcourse. if all of earth were in peace and harmony and everybody would do their job or a job wed propably have huge space stations already
And ive thought the same way by watching startrek, stargate, deep space 9, ... . Wouldnt it be fucking cool to be aboard a space station the way they represent it or walk/live on a different planet. But these series are fiction
to add. What i find really interesting is those future predictions they did in the past. the easiest example beeing the computer.
ah life, it brings more questions than answers
