Also deleted the save-file? MS-Dashboard -> Memory? Or probably even through ftp some custom files from your E-drive ->TDATA/UDATA?

Saw this on #xbox

Deleted everything that i could find relating to halo 2. Even emtied out the files that it caches in x, and y drives.
Oh well, it was worth a look.

not really, the sound file is most likely real, just from a copy of the game that wasnt released, and probably won't be released.

well...there's some guy who supposedly got the game, that one did the sound file, and also took a picture of the Halo 2 disc in his hand
(it looked real)

I dont see why people would say that their's is in english when its not. How retarded can some people get? I have both releases, and both seem to be french. And im guessing we've given up on converting this latest release to english?

I've just tried it. I can't get it to work either using PAL or NTSC. However someone obviously has the English version. The soundbit here does prove that.

I dont think there is one single special guy who said it was english.
The sound file apparently came from someone not in any way associated to the xbsrv release and other people just said it's english for fun...or maybe because they're stupid, we will never find out.

I've read the thread m8 - and I know the English aint working - but as some are saying that it is playing in English for them does not automatically mean they are liars ( though that seems MORE than likely ) - just hope it aint some new bizare security measure.
It might have helped to know what mod chips and bios versions the guys who say it works for them were using.
Lets just hope that when we buy are UK PAL originals that the game does not detect our mod chips and default it to some other language than the one we want due to a new security measure.

They are liars, plain and simple. It's exactly the same release as diffusion minus the intro movie which has been removed.

Umm, they could have gotten away with saying they thought we meant english subs if they hadn't said that the game was in FULL ENGLISH, but they did, implying that there was no other language anywhere in the game in any form. They were just talking shit all along.
