New York Ninja 9/10

I love old B-movies and this one is among the worst (in a good way) i've seen. Love the fact that they don't know the name of the actors so instead they just list the voiceover actors. Great job finishing a movie 40 years after it was made.
Shitloads of wtf moments Very Happy love it!

Quote:
John Liu originally shot the film in 1984 in New York City. The film remained unfinished until Vinegar Syndrome found the original unedited camera negative in their film archive. With the sound elements and script lost, producer/editor Kurtis Spieler finished the film and hired a new cast to dub the voices as well as the band Voyag3r to create an original score.

Contrary to early reports, a lipreader was not brought in to assist with the dubbing. Because the movie was unedited, a lipreader would have had to read the lips for every take of the movie. Instead, editor Kurtis Spieler cut the movie together first and then wrote new dialogue to match the performances of the actors. The result is similar to a foreign film where the words do not always match the mouth movements of the actors. This was done to create a more coherent story and add to the fun of the film.

This film portrays the true dangers of taking the NY trains during the 1980's. In addition to the Graffiti, and trash on the trains, many people were afraid of taking the subway because of its high mugging and murder rate.

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Nick Cage Smooches Good - 6,5/10

The nickcageist movie around, a comedic melodrama where you get to see the many faces of Cage as well as ol' Pedro plata o plomo edition. Not as masterful as The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari or Paddington 2, but it has charm and is quite entertaining in its own way.

Moonraker, 8.5/10. I know it's not the best James Bond movie, its cheesy, not the most logical, and its effects aren't always great, but it's just so enjoyable. Soundtrack is great too.

I saw Jurassic World: Dominion at the cinema - 6/10

Dumb, no-brain-required dinosaur sequel.
Not as good as Jurassic World or Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom though.
Bonus point for Bryce Dallas Howard coz she's hot AF and I wish she did porn Sad

Moonfall - 3/10

Emmerich's movies just get dumber and dumber with every movie. This one is extraordinarily stupid with the shittiest dialogue and worst character "growth" so far. The "science" used is so wrong that it in itself ruin the experience. As usual the visuals are quite spectacular. He should just release a movie with all the disaster scenes and skip the shitty character "development".

I liked it! 7/10. Didn't take it too seriously though. I expected a normal disaster movie and got a sci fi movie instead. Was pretty sweet.

Crimes of the Future 8/10

Classic Cronenberg; futuristic, weird, and lots of body-mutilation porn Very Happy (nice soundtrack too)
Took me a bit at first before I understood wtf is going on, but then it all makes sense.

Has an old school 90s vibe to it, the weird machinery and how they are named reminded me a lot of eXistenZ as well, making me wonder if both are somehow connected (or at least take place in the same universe).
Just one thing that annoyed me: the outside scenes looked really cheap Laughing

2 weeks ago multiverse of madness. Such a forgettable movie. Not as bad as thor 2 or as boring as captain marvel, but jeez... Maybe 6/10?

Yesterday finally Topgun Maverick. 8.5/10 even though the story was super simplistic. The action was absolutely top notch. As the credits started rolling I asked my wife if she liked the movie and she full on started bawling "it was beautiful Crying or Very sad". Didn't expect that reaction from her Very Happy

Multiverse of Madness: 6.5/10

Clunky special FX, a couple Raimi jokes and the typical Marvel script. Entertaining but nothing special.

What a trip! Dat dildo scene! Very Happy

I wouldn't mind if it was 15-20 minutes shorter though tbh.. It's kinda long for what it is..
