Patch 1.2 has been released and it's around 1.3 GB large which must be some sort of record due to the small amount of changes.

The Update size is large b/c all maps in multiplayer were edited, most often to adjust spawn points. We have also added two new maps.

The dedicated server is a new build of the server and will not patch the existing server. This is also because all the content has been touched. To patch the server would be almost as big as to release a new one. The Linux server is being worked on and will be updated as soon as possible.

That explains it, especially since UE3 titles have their data packed into those *.u formats so if the patch changes all multiplayer maps by overwriting them with new files then the size of the patch would get quite big as it's not just the levels but everything else that's packed together with those files.

Still it's quite a large patch unless you have a good internet connection without any download limits. (Sweden is pretty good at that front but 56K and 128/256 ISDN is still popular and well used.)

The question should be, is it still worth getting this for MOHA? Are there still players that play MOHA online? 24 players match is great, but are there 24 players online to take advantage of this? I think EA made a mistake of not releasing an editor. They said they would, but they didn't.

Alright, as I finished everything else I decided to go thru this one and so I mound the image, start the setup crap, it tries to install AGEIA (which is already installed thanks to some other game) and then it's nothing. No error, no crash. Just nothing. I check the processes - no installer there. Tried several times and it just won't install. Jesus, why?

p.s. Yeah, the game might not be worth it, but anyways.

The installer tries to add an exception to the Windows firewall, if its turned off the installer fails.

Sometime ago I could actually login and host games, but joining was problematic. It wouldn't nag me about key or anything, just say connection failed. And since there's no LAN, I guess there is no real way to play MP.

If anyone is interested, MP works for me with Hatred release / all patches / vitality crack for 1.3.
I am fan of MOH series ( dont count PA ).
It is great to see how old maps from AA are done now. Hunt, Destroyed vilage and Ramagen are blast for me. There are about 50 players (Very Happy) every night and i have fun with it.
Try it, that we could have more people on servers .... well or not, lol

jesus fucking christ!

6 gig download then a 1.3gig patch and another 1 gig patch, then patching failed twice, redownloaded the 1gig patch like 5 times, the amount of money wasted on this shit is ridiculous

Yeah, I have to download the game again. Some idiot upload some crappy version of MOHA to usenet that was split in two discs (i.e. DVD9 -> 2xDVD5) but was too dumb to check if it actually works... I guess same retards that are out there with torrents are here with usenet too.

Nah, went and manually extracted the files from CABs and put them in correct folders. Works now.

Now I have to see if the patch will work with my customly extracted moha.

Prideless, care to put a reg file for moha?

well finally worked with a reinstall, then 1.1 patch then 1.2 then 1.3. it seems ok although my comp has now started to just shut down randomly, think its temperature but its never done it before.

I just played the multiplayer and god, it sucks BALLS.

Its fkn boring, theres absolutely no spirit amongst players and seen internet stutter, even though ur ping is lower than 50. Also the maps are too small, and 24 players is still not enough.

i know this should be in technical but i figured i get a bit more help here,when i install 1.3 patch and apply the crack(both vitality and battery) i get a general protection fault,any ideas?
