The game was built for the 360 this time. MS is worried that the average gamer is going to pick it up on the PS3 just because that's what the average gamer owns, therefore not selling enough copies on the 360 and hence causing EARockstar to go back to developing on the Sony front.
I have both systems this game is being released on and will be picking this up for the 360 even though mine is banned from LIVE. In fact, I'm contemplating buying a new 360 just to play this game on LIVE. I hope many others feel the way I do. It would be a shame to see MS lose out on this because fanboys can't afford more than one system.

some other stuff:
The new Xbox World 360 magazine will have a 17 page blow out on the multiplayer mode in their next issue. They've also done a podcast where they talk about it, the discussion begins around 49 minutes in.. I just listened to it and here's some of the highlights
- They love the multiplayer mode. They talk about how in other games you're able to forgive it for having a poor multiplayer mode because it might have an amazing single player mode. But then you see GTA4 and it has as big of a single player mode as those games and an amazing multiplayer mode to go along with it.
- They say it's one of the best looking games on the 360. The lighting is what makes it according to them. They go on to talk about how games like Oblivion are hurt visually because of it'll chug sometimes and how something like Gears is really beautiful but it's very linear. But GTA4 has the size of Oblivion and the beauty of Gears.
- The framerate is really smooth. They mentioned the only time it started to chug is when 4-8 of them were shooting rocket launchers at a gas station to make it blow up.
- It's mentioned that at any time you can just pull out your phone and jump into a game.
- One of them mentions how he's always felt that the series has been a "jack of all trades, master of none" type game, and now it's a master of them all.
- The combat is amazing. They said it feels like Resident Evil 4.
- The driving is really good although it's harder than any of the previous versions. They mention that if an actual racing game used its driving model you'd be happy with it.
- They'll be leaving next week to review it.

I wonder how you missed it because it wasn't just a minigame like pool or space invaders but a normal side mission.

I see no use in pimping a ride that
a) gets totaled in the next ten minutes
b) is lost because the next mission you take makes you ride some specific car
Saint's Row garage system helped a bit but it would be better if you could call the driver to bring the car to you instead of racing thru the whole city to grab your lamborghini.

That mission in SA indeed was no side mission.
U just didn't finished the game @ all or your memory doesn't do hes
job like it needs to.
The graphics in the new game are indeed i little fadded.
I just hope it will be a bit more sharp then like on those screens!
And vodka...YES! It would be kickass if u could hire some
young guy that brings your cars when and wich car ever u like :].
What is the release date for the new gta?
Can anybody post up some new magazine SCANs please  ?..

I finished the story, and I remember when he talked about DDR. I don't think the game is gonna focus on customizing cars either, but it would be fun.

I dont think you have to worry about customization since i remember reading an article where rockstar says there are no customizations to your car. It wouldve been a nice system, kind of like in scarface, where if you buy the car, you can use your cellphone to make some guy bring it. But if you total it, you have to repair it.
