And It's not as if anyone can get away as there's no hiding point because i read somewhere ages ago about this technology that can see through brick walls etc.,So hiding is a big no no.
Something defiantly needs doing about all this surveillance stuff being used,as sooner or later everyone will be under control by this stuff.
Imo,It's too intrusive.

Oh come on, anyone with brain could see that satellite couldn't shot from that angle! And do you really think that google satellite has spy capabilities, it's not like that's some super uber cool high power satellite, those things cost a fortune... At least it shows that google guys have sense of humor...

google has cars with cameras mounted on them that drive down the streets the camera takes a picture every 10 yards or something like that, one caught a stabbing on film which was used by police as evidence aswell

Hahaha. Awesome.

But these are not taken from satellites. Google street view used vans with multiple cameras on them driving down the streets. And AFAIK its not updated regularly.

Edit. opps. Should have looked up.

Thats a scary notion to think of.

I mean, I do see the benefits for catching criminals - REAL criminals (murderers, rapists, pedophiles etc). But fuck, why bother the hussla's and stuff.

Ive never understood cops mentality on that. They go after street dealers. Whats the point? the minute one gets book, another takes over. They need to use their resources more logically and go after the big boys and leave the guys makin an extra couple hundred a week alone.

U know what even scarier? I recall seeing a story on CNN a couple of months ago where a family in Florida was is the first to be implanted with those RF (i think thats what its call) chips. They can be tracked anywhere they go and what their doing.

Having to have a social security number is bad enough. Now they want to implant chips in people for 'informational purposes only'...bullshit. The day I let anyone implant a chip in me is the day i die, seriously.

First off these satellites can't see through walls with any kind of resolution that would be useful for spying on someone.

Secondly, there is only a limited amount of geosynchronous orbital space, so it's not like this kind of technology could ever be used for live feed applications on a large scale. It's reserved for national government level priority applications. Static photography like Google earth is a completely different thing.

Besides what do cops need satellites for when they have rapid response helicopters fitted with high tech surveillance equipment.

Too many conspiracy theorists out there. Rolling Eyes
