Damn it,this game is making me think of getting a XBox 360,although i only have a small old tv on my room and online won´t get much use.

If you have a ws monitor that'd do the job as well... I used to play on a 19" ACER monitor and that was alright... compared to my HDTV there isn't much difference apart from the screen size ofc.

An ACER L1916WS is around $225, that's the best you can get for that money! Check this out on the official MS xbox forums, everyone claims that it's a rly decent monitor. I'd read a lot about it before I actually bought it and that seemed to be the best solution!

I don't think it's actually an hdtv. As i recall HD Ready was one of those sly marketing terms. Anybody care to enlighten us on this?

Hrm --
A HD ready TV must have HDMI or DVI connectivity in order to accept a digital signal from the HD receiving equipment. It must also have a resolution of either 720 or 1080 lines.
I recall this being iffy though. Ah well.
2nd Edit:
It also implies that the display does not contain a high-definition capable tuner or decoder.
That must be what i am remembering.

LOL I have a Samsung LE32R8 HD Ready TV and it is totally sufficient! I compared my TV with a FULLHD one and I could see no difference at all between the two! And yes everything was set... (HDReady on 720p 1366*768, FULLHD 1080p 1920*1080)

1) Don't use terms like HDREADY and FULLHD. This is just marketing crap that confuses people.
2) Most X360 games are rendered at 720p and only upscaled to 1080p. Therefore you don't get any increase in quality from using such a monitor/tv.
