There's a couple Vista machines that we just installed at work. After joining a Server 2003 domain I log in as administrator and go to deactivate the annoying as fuck authentication only to realize to my horror that the UAC is not checked.
What. The. Fuck.
Now I have to install like 25 apps constantly asking for "are you sure?" authentication.

I have vista ultimate 64bit, its really nice, i like it, you just got to tweak some things a lil, i got a full PDF book on how to tweak vista, let me know if you guys have XFire ill send it to you.

I've tried on multiple occasions to get used to Vista. The latest one being after I upgraded my system to 4 GB of RAM and an E8400 Duo Core. With the latest release, all service packs and patches installed, its still a nagging, steaming pile of shit.
About all it does successfully is look dead sexy. Kinda like a high class hooker. But underneath the look she's illiterate and maybe the she is really a he. Vista simply ain't worth all the risk and extra work.

I'm waiting for Server 08 to get cracked. It's very fast when compared to Vista and it's more stable than Vista SP1. |
