Someone please make me a GranTurismo for the PC, less of this stupid console racer crap

No, you are right - it's still console 'crap' but it's the kind of console game I'd want as opposed to these generic racers. The brand names is a big draw, the graphics another. Think the closest we got was test drive unlimited and I didn't like that (a great deal anyway) as it played out more like a mixture of the generic racers & need for speed.
I just think games like this are a waste of time on the PC, better to have something with more scope. A collectible game like GranTurismo would be cool, leave the Need For Speeds on the console where they are better appreciated sans GTR/Live for Speed/RBR/rFactor/Blah Blah....
mehh u still have to play it with gamepad or wheel so might as well get a console and be done with it if u really want it, console prices atm is price of one decent pc gfx card

Or if you are smart just buy a x-box 360 wirless controller for pc for 70$ problem solved dont have to buy a console to experience the console that's what I did & FYI the guitar for the x-box 360 guitar hero III will work on your pc (vista anyway) Also once you bought the one wirless for pc you can just buy a regular 360 wirless for 60$ and the receiver will pick it up. havn't tested more then 2 so far im also willing to bet & hope to test a x-box 360 wirless guitar to see if the receiver would recognize it but all in all you can make your pc a 360 hybrid & without the limitation that MS puts on you with the console.

Just cause you might think some of the games are shit doesn't mean there shit yes alot of ports are crap but the controller goes well with some of those ports that are good. GOW, Rainbow Six vegas...racing games in general. Anyway this game is gonna be sick.
Nice looking game, but I doubt, that those fictional urban races in the old town of Paris could be synched with realistic simulator..
Btw, I, personally, prefer racing games on consoles, because it sucks you in better, and creates fabulous effect, that sitting by the PC monitor, ... I'm a telly lover though.

I have gamepad and wheel for my PC, it's not like I don't use them so it's not a valid point. The PC offers different to the console, it'd just be nice that the better console titles (i.e. not generic racers which fail in competition to the other sims) were released instead.
WTF? Looks exactly like Dirt, only on track. Cars look the same, sounds are the same, lol even the same stupid blur. Nothing like the original announcement (surprise surprise).
Toca 2? The original Toca 2 or are we talking about the 'real racing simulator' or whatever it was they nicknamed it If it's the latter, it wasn't a bad looker but it was a poor GAME and certainly an awful simulator (and I bought it!).
The screenshots definitely look nice, but I'll wait until the demo to judge the real thing - we've had this issue with codemasters before as I'm sure someone has already mentioned. Potential graphics whore type enjoyment though, that's one plus point I guess.
We all remember how ut3 was supposed to look like and how it actually looked right? I think codemasters is going to pull off the same stunt, just like they did with dirt and the previous race driver games.
Hah funny video, but far from true. Even gt4 had a shitload of lemans/formula 1 cars that grid only wished it had, plus the depth in gran turismo second to none.
I really wish the grid demo is going to look and play like it does in all those trailers, my g25 is ready.
