Anyone managed to boot this on PAL system. Tried burning twice @1x DL Verb with Wii Brick Blocker patch applied but when i boot it from Wii Menu the screen just go's black and the remote turns off. Have updated Wii and am using D2CKEY modded Wii.

i can play it on my pal wii with wiikey. But i have that the game is chrashing sometimes. More people with this problem

this is PAL if you patch it with regionfrii, or are using an updated wiikey.
if you dont have a wiikey then you need to patch the iso to eliminate the disc check at the start or you will just get black screen.

what patch ? USA wii video is cuttin out played 1 match and it just froze!!!!!!!! Funny thing is retail works played it for like 8 hrs yesterday with friends no hiccups no nothin burnt copy = weird video sound cuttin out got past that by skippin the video chose a match everything loaded fine , won match and then it froze on the video 1 verbatim dl dvd burnt at 6x and 1 burnt at 2.4x i'm stumped why this game won't work !!!!!!!! The retail shoulda crashed i would think if it was the chip. SMG works flawlessly chip is flashed with latest yaoism so i dunno anyone USA get this to work smoothly?
no one can harm me now that i have my
cheesehelmet on!!!!!

if you want it to play on a pal wii with wiikey, you burn the game like any other wii game. except you need a double layer dvd. if you have freezes, you probably burned it wrong. burn it with imgburn and change the layerbreak to 2084960.
you also need to change your wii to 50hz under the options.

Man -- i suck at this game lol. The controls are really strange, however with the gamecube controller it was a lot better.

I play the game in 60hz. Now i don't have freeses anymore.

Same. I would not recommend playing with Wiimote/nunchuck. Gamecube controller is so much better, I have not tried classic controller yet though.

finally got the wizard release working on my NTSC Wii with wiinja deluxe...had to burn with imgburn using the layerbreak file I found in NG and also set booktype to dvdrom...dont know if that helped but it works w/o any problems...havent tried multiplayer yet!

Brick Blocker says this is not a valid Wii ISO, is it allready brick blocked?? I seen in the nfo it says it's a pre, is that what that means?

i finally burned ssbm und played it for some hours. great game so far!
i used the wizard release and applied Super.Smash.Bros.Brawl.WII.NTSC.TO.PAL.UPDATES.REMOVED.PATCH to it. didnt used regionfree or any other tool with it. i just set the right layerbreak in imgburn and burned it on a verbatim dvd-dl.
works without problems in 480p too.

I'm hoping the same procedure works for me. Anyone else had success with this? Out of interest, what chip do you have? I've got a Wiikey.

I used the same setup and the layerbreak # mentioned in the nfo but this time my pal wii won't even detect the game. I gave up on the us version, just gonna d/l the jap version and hope it works
