My Xbox crashes during the preload/federal warning screen. I've tried running it off my HD and a DVD-R, but no luck. I even tried copying over the two datahdd files. Anybody have any suggestions?

Dead.Or.Alive.Ultimate.1DISC.SOLUTION.READNFO.XBOX-DNL
Allows you to play both games from one disc (i think).

Yea what a crap
And none of the 2 dvds works from HDD...Tried all settings and xbe patchers, still gets stuck when loading.
They should nuke releases if they arent HDD compatible or at least write it in the nfo.

Works fine from the hdd for me mate.

And They Are 2 Different dvds
dvd1 is the original dc version
and dvd2 is doa ultimate

on my BOX Crashing the game to.
Only can see the Warnings then crash.damn

for those who have the box crashing. It's probably cause you're using an exploit, and if so. Try the new Evox M8 bios with metoo. Should fix your issue

used DNL's fix on dvd1 to create dvd2 without having to downloading it, worked a treat, both dvds work fine from dvdr.
just gonna try "Dead Or Alive 3 Game Selection Menu" , so i only need 1 dvdr to play both games from dvd

Don't use X2 bios, only the latest Evox M8 will do, try finding it at xbins, it's a package of both pbl metoo and Evox M8.

k im confused..dead or alive ultimate is about dead or alive 1 and 2...i did what the patch thingy said ..burnt it and i get like i dunno which version..am i suppose to burn the orig iso and the new dvd iso file it makes..so still burn both...2 seperate games in 1???? anyone knows.. cuz there seems to be chars missing and al.. i watched the video review and it shows more than what i burnt and played.

how do i get to the second game?lol it just says dead or alive 2 ultimate after i started it up..(i got the dvd1, then used the patch that came out this morning)burnt that and..a bit lost on the old game not seeing it. any help plz.

need to extract the iso and rebuild with these files though

Updating to the M8 Metoo bios worked perfectly for me. Disc 1 will work with any bios, but Disc 2 will ONLY WORK WITH THE M8 METOO BIOS. There is indeed nothing wrong with the release.

So I have Bert and Ernie with a older Bios, I cant play this unless I update to which hack? which one lets you install M8? I have the old 4034.

Yes just like I said update with latest Evox M8 and PBL metoo. Everything will be fine, only EXPLOIT users have the freezing problem to begin with, so people who have a modchip don't have to worry at all ... And both discs work fine, as the fix says. The only difference is the doa1.txt or doa2.txt file. Doesn't matter which disc you'll get both will work fine
