any difference from the promo copy? and goddamn, lots of internet hate for In Flames ... am I missing something? I really like Soundtrack, Reroute and Come Clarity ... guess those are all death metal purists or what?
I don't like the newer in flames, they got an emo sound to them now. There was basically 3 styles of in flames, their first style was really heavy death metal, then they went to a more...head banging metal and now they're just....odd lol.
But ya, I have every album of theirs, they have A LOT of talent, and from album to album their sound changes more and more but still retains that in flames personality
well the first 3 albums especially the jesters race was proper melodic death metal and the latest albums turned away from that it was more alternative metal witch was slightly harder i guess the people that hate the new in flames are fans that were there from the beginning. the albums i like are clayman, reroute to remain, and some of colony i bought clayman i don't usually buy albums.
Their best album was Clayman, period After that, they started making these more experimental albums, wich I respect them for, trying new stuff. Still, i don't really like the latest In Flames albums, but props to them for trying stuff out.
Also, In Flames new sound has absolutely nothing to do with emo music. And i'm not saying this to be mean or disrespectful, but anyone who thinks that knows nothing about emo music

Ok this might come of as totally faggy in between the In Flames, jap pop and what not but im really into classical music atm. Kind of had an epiphany when listening to Bach the other month and i just cant stop listening. Just fucking pure music.

It's not their best album but I think under the garden and sleeping between trucks are decent
yeah, listened to it a couple times .. a lot of it is too poppy, but yeah I like those songs as well ... I actually like the style on sleeping between trucks a lot, pretty different from their usual style
