i cant switch weapons,think im missing something.

That's stupid. How about it feels like a good arcade game?
Visually the game looks great, well animated and detailed graphics.
I don't know what's the cheap feel you're talking about. I'm using gamepad and the ship responds very well and accurately, nothing cheap about it.

when I read "soldner" it brought memories of an horrible attempt of a vehicular fps done a couple of years ago.
